Attended hunter eye surgeons and then the eye hospital next door for pterygium removal in one eye.
The whole process could not of been any easier!
Dr Hall and all the staff from reception to the nurses to my anesthetist were absolutely amazing.
Super professional but also kind and caring and happy to have a quick chat to ease any nerves.
The level of care shown was exceptional and made what was a bit of a scary procedure extremely comfortable throughout.
The nurses even make you a coffee if you're up for one after surgery.
Now a day after surgery I've already had a phone call checkup from my nurse to make sure everything's going to plan.

I couldn't read the top line at the optometrist one month ago and she discussed options and timing for having the cataract on my right eye removed. 4 weeks later I've had the cataract removed and my eye is again able to see long distance without glasses.
Dr Peter Davies runs a very well organised team of professionals. All questions were answered from day one. The hospital staff at Newcastle Eye Hospital were wonderful all through the 3 hour stay for preparation, operation and recovery.
I am so impressed with the service offered. I am not in a private health fund as I don't see that they offer value so I paid cash for this procedure. It is money well spent.
