Charles J. DeLuca OD

Dr. DeLuca is incredibly thorough and patient. He clearly cares a lot about his patients and what he does. He spent over an hour with my father, catching him up on all needed eye tests and answering all of his questions. This practice is small and intimate; clearly individual patients are given the time and attention they deserve. Could not have been more impressed by Dr. DeLuca. Thank you!

Horrible experience. The doctor said I could get both glasses and contacts through my insurance. I even spent a good amount of time picking out the frames. A month later, when I went to go pick up said contacts and glasses, the receptionist told me that she only had the contacts ready for me. The office made me wait 30 minutes before dr deluca finally came out and explained he could only get the contacts. I had asked him why his office didn't notify me prior to me coming in that they couldn't get the glasses. With that one question, the doctor starts berating me in front of other patients, saying accusatory and unfounded fallacies, like "are u asking me to commit insurance fraud for you? "do you think i am a liar." I told him that I am not asking him to commit fraud. I just wanted to know why he didnt tell me earlier that he didnt get the glasses. After me simply stating this, he went on another tangent and so i simply walked out the door as he continued to berate me. So ridiculous. I've never experienced such unprofessionalism. I merely stated two sentences without raising my voice. I would have also much preferred to receive the glasses instead of the contacts. had the doctor not assured me he could get me both, I would have asked only for the glasses during my initial appointment . such a humiliating experience. would never recommend
