America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

Meghan was very helpful looking for glasses and giving me great options according to my preferences. Assisted with the payment processing and giving me the best lenses opening me to what my insurance would cover as well as getting me a pair of glasses that was covered with my warranty. All this and I left with a 12 dollar fee. I'll always go to this location as long as I get this service and the doctor is amazing.

I was looking for a specific pair of glasses in the store that I use and could not get. Anymore abd they could not help me. I called the Americas Best in Bayshore and spoke to MEO. She went above and beyond to help me find these glasses that were hard to find because they were no longer available. Well, This girl was amazing. She not only found my glasses, but she had them shipped to the store. I cannot thank her enough she went above and beyond for me. She is an asset to this company and is there for the customers. I recently made an appointment online at the Bay Shore, NY, location. It was for the same day because I needed contacts immediately. The staff and optometrist were spectacular and I had zero wait time. Additionally, they were able to take my insurance and order new contacts to arrive within a few days. Finally, they provided a few sample contacts to get me through until mine came in. This was such a help to me and saved me from being inconvenienced for the holiday weekend. Truly, I was stunned by the professionalism of everyone at the location and appreciate how easy they made it for me. Thanks for a great experience!

Dr. JI GUO, O.D. is excellent. The staff very professional and friendly. This is the second year I have gone to get my vision checked. I highly recommend the Bay Shore location at Gardiner Manor Lane Shopping mall.

Not sure what happened recently, this place used to be great. They switched over to virtual visits and think its ok to make people wait over 3 hours. If someone is responsible and respectful of your time by being early the least you can do is not string them along. Edit: Corporate response obviously generated by ai or they don't care. I reviewed the location visited. Are you going to compensate me for time and money lost? No. So no I won't be wasting MORE of my time. To others reading this be warned, seems like this company has divested from previous values

Off the bat, need to say Meghan and Meo deserve a raise! Astonishingly friendly, Incredibly helpful! They were very knowledgeable on the type of frames my insurance was able to cover. Can't fully express how amazing they were, truly felt they were looking out for my best interest! Looking forward to seeing them (fingers crossed ) again on my next visit!

Seems to me there is a huge lack of communication at this place. Also they're not consistent. Before leaving my review I read other reviews and just noticed a pattern of the same thing. COMMUNICATION. With that comes inconsistency. Help once then maybe the service with be the same next time!. I was recommended to this place by my brother who comes here and my first visit was okay. I noticed there were only two people working and seemed a bit overwhelmed with how many customers were there, no biggie that happens, after waiting patiently I was called up to the front desk and spoke with someone who had taken my information down and I also gave her my insurance card. She emailed me the correct paperwork needed to proceed with my appointment and she scheduled my appointment for 4 days from Monday. I arrived at my appointment at the designated time and date and when I walked up to check in the same exact lady who took down my information and gave my insurance ID to had asked me have I been there before and did I scheduled and appointment!? Also made it sound as if it was someone else I spoke too and asked me for my insurance card again. Now I annoyed, like you could've called or sent an email if you had any questions also I filled out that form she was so adamant about me filling out to only have to wait and go through the whole process again like this should've already been taken care of MON. So I did everything again and she tells me my insurance is coming up as inactive which is absolutely incorrect then after she tells me that she says but your good for the promotions and proceeds to walk me down to the waiting area to be examined. So no communication, terrible customer service, and they're just trying to scam you. Even returning guests have issues. Not americas best. Respectfully.

Kelly & Meghan were the best!! Excellent customer service and they didnt get annoyed when I came in right before closing and couldnt decide what I wanted. They handled me with care and I'm so happy with my decision!!
