Horrible experience The 2 times I went to Dr Barons office.... both times I was waiting for 2 hrs to be seen. Sitting in multiple waiting rooms even though I have an appointment time yet there's 5 other appointments ahead of me. Ontop of that, when being seen Dr Baron is juggling between me and another client. That's so unprofessional, not only do I have to wait 2 hours but im not even given the full attention I deserve.
Dr. Baron is absolutely the best! He has been working really hard to save my sight for the past year. He does all the tests possible as well as to make referrals if necessary. Be warned - he is old school and won't rush a visit as he seeks to get it right for all patients. I recommend him wholeheartedly. Please do not retire anytime soon. Thank you Dr. Baron!
Horrid. Tried to get appointment for testing I need every 6 months and did not want to keep having to go to city. Was told I need a referral from doctor I see in city. Current doc sent over referral. Called 4 times over several weeks and was told every time someone would call me back. Never received call. Last time I called I was told I was never entered into system. They have total disregard for my time or need for medical testing. Go elsewhere !
Dr. Baron and his office were supposed to take over our daughters care from Dr Spector, her Neuro-Ophthalmologist, retiring. We haven't been able to get his office to respond SINCE December. It's April. Unconscionable. Inexcusable. Unacceptable. Outrageous. And nobody from his office takes care of a damn thing. Good luck getting through to them so they don't answer back. A family should not feel without options. SightMD and Dr. Baron...get your act together. Our daughter's health has been put in a precarious position DUE TO YOUR ACTIONS. Fix this. NOW.
I have been seeing Dr. Baron for a least a decade since around 2013. He is my favorite Doctor that I see. He is highly knowledgable in neuro ophthalmology. Dr. Baron is very personable, funny, and caring. His staff are also very nice and professional at all the offices I have visited. I will not go to anyone else as long as he is practicing!!
Dr. Baron was very thorough and knowledgeable. I felt confident in his assessment. He also had an excellent bedside manner which is important to me. Staff was pleasant as well.
I appreciate the time he took to followup on my test results and his determiniation help me.
There aren't many Nero Ophthalmologists on Long Island, but even if there were, Dr Baron would be the one I'd pick. He's extremely knowledgeable and patient enough to take the time to work long and hard with his patients to figure out what their issue is and how to solve it. His staff is equally dedicated and you can see the respect they have for him. You will wait a couple of hours to see Dr Baron, but it's definitely worth the wait, he's a great Dr,
