Perspective Eye Care Long Island

Bellport Perspective Eye Care is amazing!!! I've never been compelled to run home and write a review before, but felt this establishment definitely deserves it. My daughter took a nerf dart to the eye tonight at 5:30pm and I was frantically searching walk-ins capable of dealing with an eye injury and was resigned to the fact that we were likely going to end up with a trip to the ER after a walk-in visit. I figured there was no way an ophthalmologist office would still be open, but as we were heading out I did a quick search anyways and Bellport Perspective Eye Care popped up, was opened until 7pm tonight, and also took our insurance. I quickly called them and they were able to squeeze us in as soon as we could get there. The receptionist was so kind and polite on the phone. There wasn't a hint of annoyance from her about my emergency visit and told us she'd see us as soon. The staff were incredibly welcoming. As soon as we were checked in the receptionist quietly asked me if the kids were allowed a treat and if there were any allergies. I knew we were in good hands when patients were leaving and telling the receptionist how much they loved this place. Dr. Cho was calm and patient with my daughter who was super nervous and fidgety, and also answered questions from my son who couldn't sit still or quietly watch the exam. While we were waiting for my daughters eyes to dilate, the staff members were leaving for the night. Every single one said goodbye to us, wished us a happy holidays and told my daughter they hoped she would feel better soon. Dr. Cho, stayed past business hours and saved us a trip to the ER. I highly recommend this place!

Dr Cho is an excellent physician! And the staff is wonderful! Every time I have an emergency, no problem getting an appointment for the time that I need . I highly recommend this office for all your eye care needs! Jane

Happy enough to write a review which I never bother doing. This place took care of me very well. Ask for Dr. Brian, he took his time to make sure all my questions were answered and was super patient with my crazy 4 year old son for a color blindness test. I had to pick out new glasses which I hate doing as nothing looks right on me in my opinion. The front desk staff was super helpful to weed out the ones that didn't fit my face and suggested a few that I eventually chose from. It seems like they renovated recently which is nice too. Rooms were modern and they had this cool plexiglass shield up front.

I cannot express how grateful I am to everyone at Bellport Eye Care! They go above and beyond to help me and especially my little brother throughout the years. I wouldn't go to anyone else because, from start to finish they make you feel warm and welcome like a caring family!

Dr Cho is very thorough, he doesn't rush and answers and explains all questions and concerns. The staff is warm and welcoming. Great office.

Dr Cho is a great Optometrist! I've been going to him for years. He takes the time to listen to his patient and thoroughly explains everything he is doing. His office is convenient and lovely. Although I didn't buy glasses there, there is a huge selection with very updated styles.

Dr. Cho is awesome! I have been going here for many many year and always have been so happy. Everyone who works there are always so friendly and welcoming. It's always so wonderful to see Theresa at the front desk. She is the most helpful and cheerful person, welcomed always with a smile! Pam is awesome at helping you pick out the perfect glasses for you and your personality and she does that by giving you both time and honesty, which I really appreciate. She's lovely too! I have, and do highly recommend Bellport eye care to everyone who need a referral.
