I had a great experience here. I am very happy with the staff and Optometrist Dr. Forrest OD. Thank you for making me feel comfortable and all advice was perfect. Huge selection of glasses was also a plus and your opinions really helped me!

I went here for an eye exam and glasses. The doctor is great, but their staff needs to change their attitude. They all have an attitude, they try to sell you cheap brands overpriced and try to force you into glasses you don't even like. They refused to change lenses trying to make me buy new frames. One of the girls went to the back and starting talking to another person about us like if we were not standing there listening to all the things she was saying. I would definitely never go back here, I do not recommend this place. Everything is overpriced, go get better glasses somewhere else for half the price. Their overpriced glasses are not worth the terrible experience of dealing with their rude staff.

They a really bad, the personal desk is really bad the only one good is the Dr that is doing the test . They were trying to sell an ugly glasses for my mom and the prices really higher for the brand . She had the glasses and only need to Change the lence and they didn't want to do it . We went to Walmart and they change the lence for only 100$

This is a great place! I had an emergency, because my dog completely destroyed my glasses the same morning and I was leaving for a work trip in the evening. Amazingly, I was able to get an eye exam right away without appointment and they tried everything they possibly could to make the glasses (shortsighted with astigmatism) for me right away. I don't know how, but they did it. If it wasn't for them, I would have had to survive my 5-day work trip without glasses (and only with contact lenses).

Went in for my first pair of eyeglasses. I was handed a box and told "These are what your insurance will cover, pick one." Nothing in the box fit properly and I expected them to be fitted at some point. I got zero help with picking something that actually fit my face. "Just pick one you like" they said. They tried to upsell me a bunch of stuff and didn't appear to be very happy that I declined almost all of it except for one inexpensive option. When I went to pick up the glasses I tried them on and the prescription was fine. I asked if they were going to adjust the glasses since they extended over an inch behind my ears and slid down my face when I looked down. They told me there's nothing they can do and to just deal with it. I asked for my prescription and they told me they couldn't give it to me but it's on file if I ever need to come in for new glasses. I asked why they wouldn't give me the prescription and the person said "Because then you can get glasses somewhere else. Just come back and pay cash if you want another pair." I'll never go back to this place again. Worst experience ever and horrible service. Totally unacceptable and just downright disturbing. Not to mention the fact that I've now read the insurance guidelines and they were supposed to furnish the prescription immediately after the exam and they were, in fact, supposed to adjust the glasses so they actually fit properly. Turns out they had to send my prescription to the insurance company so I went to another store that accepts the insurance and they were able to pull up the script. My insurance covers two pairs per year so I got a properly fitting pair of glasses elsewhere along with the prescription itself. It's a place in Shirley that takes the insurance us low income people have and they're nice as can be and super helpful. I wasn't treated like a low life there. I'm sure Brentwood Vision Center will say there's no record of me ever visiting as they told another reviewer. Low income insurance doesn't mean people should be treated like trash. Maybe they think they're running a store in Beverly Hills and forgot they're actually in Brentwood. Whatever the case may be, they need to learn to treat everyone equally. Maybe it's just because I didn't actually fit in and stood out like a sore thumb. One will never know. I can't totally agree with the other one star review I just saw. The place was pretty clean and the person that did the exam was very nice. The main staff are definitely rude among other things. There is such a thing as low income insurance, it's called Medicaid. They did, in fact, show me frames in a box and told me "These are the frames Medicaid will cover." There were very few in the box and we're obviously all bottom tier, which is perfectly fine. As for the script being in a database, feel free to look up the Medicaid guidelines. They are required to not only provide the customer with the script but also provide said script to Medicaid itself. It's written in black and white in Medicaid"s policy. The other store was able to view the script directly from Medicaid because this store submitted the script as required by the insurance guidelines for providers. There's no grudge here. All I needed was a pair of glasses that fit and were covered by insurance since I didn't plan on wearing them much as they were for a slight distance issue. It's not my fault you tried to upsell me and force me to come back to you by not giving me my script because Medicaid pays you next to nothing and you wanted to make more money. Anyone who knows how Medicaid works knows their contract pays the lowest of any insurance out there. The issue is that you don't like bad reviews so you say they're fake. You're just mad that people are calling you out on your nonsense. This review is 100% factual and I will gladly notarize a sworn statement as to it's accuracy. As for the fake name, this Google account is well over a decade old and it's an online name I chose. Similar to how some people call themselves "Buck Wilder" or "Tommy Two Times".

If I could choose 0 stars I would. I've been coming here sense I was 10 and never had any issues. It's only until when I started to ask for my script so I can shop around their was an issue. All these people want is money and they will try to upscale u. Last time I went I was told by my opt to ask the guy (owner) for my script and I was like why can't you as my opt give it to me. So I go and ask for my script and the owner starts giving me a problem telling me to buy frames here. I stood my ground and I asked for my script and when he finally gave it to me he started yelling at me and calling me names. Don't come here please the owner is so rude and all he wants is money and treats his employees horrible.
