Empire Visionworks did a great job working with our schedules. We loved the Saturday option for our appointment, and didn't mind the virtual visit with the eye doctor. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They did a great job guiding us through our insurance and even made some great suggestions for mine, and my husband's frames! We also love that they could get my husband and I in on the same day with back to back appointments. Thank you Empire Visionworks for a great eye examine experience!

Scheduling is a breeze. The office staff and technicians in Corning are very friendly and welcoming. They do their jobs well and with a smile. The Doc I saw was personable and knowledgeable, simple to the point. Great selection of frames and art great prices. Sales are a plus.

Only gets 2 stars because my optometrist was very kind otherwise this experience might have been 0 stars. The staff has become seemingly grumpy or maybe disconnected from their jobs as customer service personnel. On top of that, I was given 4 contacts to choose from all of which had subtle differences, so I wanted to take my time figuring out which was best. Once I decided I called to order the contacts and first the fee was over $800 and then they kept telling me I needed to redo my eye exam because it was passed 60 days. The individual (maybe not trying to be but it happened) came off as very rude when I transitioned to just wanting to get my prescription sent to me. NYS law is 1 year not 60 days. Once I brought that up they laid off and eventually sent me the prescription. The final kicker was that I bought the exact same contacts and quantity from Sam's Club for $235. Also in past visits when I ordered glasses they always recommended that I get my lenses shaved because they are thick. It's an add on but not something I think about when ordering glasses. It seems like the lack of care led them to not even ask the last time (separate visit) and in the end I ended up ordering another pair of glasses from another store for 1/3 of what they charged me with the added feature. It was disappointing.

My experience at this location has been excellent with the eye doctor, but awful in any dealings with Rachel (purple hair) in customer service. Last time my glasses came in with a lens crack EXACTLY where the screw went into the lens. She insisted it was my fault and made me use my insurance to replace the lens even though it's physically impossible for me to make a Crack at that exact spot. This time, one lens was blurry so I went in and she told me it's because I have a cataract and I got upset and asked for someone else to help me. The eye Dr. Saw me at the Elmira location and YES he has to change the Rx for that lens. AVOID this location! The Elmira location has kind, professional customer service that is extremely helpful!! Never going to the Corning location again. When $500.00 out of pocket for glasses, you should be treated fairly AND should be able to SEE clearly!

People were very nice from the time we walked in, first person I engaged with who did my first set of tests was great! Very patient with me as I had my grandma and my grandson with me in the waiting room and had to keep checking on them. Doctor was AMAZING, very thorough, explained everything I needed to know and made me feel validated. Didn't stick around to pick out glasses as I was on a time crunch, but I am certain that experience will be just as great!

From the first moment I walked into the door someone greeted me politely and saw my glasses and told me I'd have a new pair 7 to 10 days I started crying because I was so happy thank you for your help and professionalism and being on point

I had an appointment with the vision works in corning, ny. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. But they had a room full of people waiting. After asking, 1 dr had called in, and this had set the schedule way off. Be prepared for a wait if this happens. Have a good day.

I am not happy. The glasses needed to be fitted so the optician warmed and shaped the bows. When I put them back on and tipped my head forward, they slid on my nose even with the silicone nose pieces. I told her that the fit was still not right, and she pushed them back and said that they were okay. Well, they are not okay, they are annoying! I had better a fitting at Twin Tier Eye Care which is now Guthrie. I ended up putting two pieces of silicone tubing in the ear pieces to keep them from sliding.
