The best eye doctor we have ever been to! My family (myself, my husband and my 2 children) have been using Dr. Gorman for about 10 years now. She is always kind and treats us with a familiarity that you don't often experience at doctor offices. She walked my husband and I through lasik surgery and was there for every step of the recovery and follow up appointments. Dana helped my son learn how to use contacts and was incredibly patient with him. My other son is on his third pair of glasses within a year and Dana was extremely helpful in figuring out which option was the most cost effective and quickest to receive while giving us temporary solutions until the new pair comes in. The entire staff is friendly, always makes us feel welcome when we walk in the door, and eager to help with any problem that we have. We have recommended this office to many family and friends over the years and will continue to do so!

If I could give zero stars I would Michelle was Not knowledgeable and her response to my questions were very vague save your time save your money go somewhere else was a customer for 20+ years but under the new name change I feel as they started selling products that weren't as high of quality as cortlandt eye care was selling. For comparison I will show how scratched my 8 month old 619$ glasses are compared to my 4+ year old glasses that were sold from cortlandt eye care and NOT my eye doctor.

The optometrist came out into the dispensary to tell me about my problems in front of other people. I find that insensitive and unprofessional. I was rushed through the eye exam by an intern who didn't seem interested in human contact. I think since Cortland Eye Care took on this franchise MyEyeDr, the quality of service is gone. Disappointing and without Michael the eyeglasses are of poor quality both in frames and lenses.

Unfortunately, after being a customer for over a decade, I will no longer be using Cortlandt Eye Care as my provider for eye care. Situation: In August 2024, I paid and ordered contacts to be delivered to my building. I have ordered contacts from Cortlandt Eye Care to this address before. However, the contacts I ordered in August were stolen after delivery (verified by United State Postal Service / USPS) from inside my building due to the parcel lockers being left open by accident. All mail delivered to the parcel lockers that day was stolen. USPS advised me to contact the sender, Cortlandt Eye Care for recourse action. This is a one-off unfortunate event. Response from Cortland Eye Care: After explaining the situation, the Cortlandt Eye Care Team, specifically Mary, front receptionist and Dana, the general manager, told me that there was nothing that they could do to rectify the situation. I was told that I should have sent my contacts to a "safer" location and that if I wanted another set I would have to pay again because they can not send me more contacts for "free." I was also told that if I wanted my money back I would need to contact USPS as they said "we did our job and it's not our fault they were stolen." Even though I have proof from USPS that my contacts were non-receipt I was told that "if my contacts were stolen from a house" then it would be different because it's a more valid case to prove that they were not delivered. Feedback: Although this is not an ideal situation, I expected the Cortlandt Eye Care team to be more considerate and compassionate when dealing with customers. I would have appreciated an offer from the office to write the claim on my behalf to get reimbursed from USPS or offered a subsidy on a new order of contacts due to the mishap. Even an explanation over why they were so adamant on not providing another pair of contacts after I paid and having proof of non-receipt. I felt that the blame was put on me as a customer. When I told Dana that I will no longer be seeking care from Cortlandt Eye Care and requested my medical records, her response was, "You got it," and she hung up the phone. There was no effort to retain me as a customer. I hope that the service and treatment of customers, especially long-term customers, improves at Cortland Eye Care with this feedback on my experience. Please remember that service is always replaceable.

We were disillusioned with another vision center in the area and decided to try MyEyeDr, and we are very glad we did. The whole experience was great. Dr. Gorman was thorough with the exam (using up-to-date equipment, which was a nice change), and Dana helped both my wife and I choose glasses that suit us nicely. There was no hard sell and no rush. We have come back for minor adjustments and they were made quickly and correctly. They are a pleasure to work with.

We have been patients of Cortlandt Eye Care since 2017 (when we moved to the area). Dr. Gorman, Michael and staff are a great team. I am a health care professional and small business owner, so I feel qualified to give a fair assessment of this establishment. Appointments are on-time, using our VSP insurance there is a breeze, and Dr. Gorman is knowledgeable, kind and efficient. Michael, who runs the dispensary, is patient, and is happy to answer any questions you may have about their glasses. We have purchased glasses from them for multiple years in a row and from what I have seen so far, they stand by their work. I purchased a pair of glasses today that I am excited about, and look forward to picking them up when they're ready. Thank you!

It was a very pleasant visit. Staff members were welcoming and lovely to talk to. Dr. Gorman was very thorough in getting to know my eye condition and making sure I take care of them correctly. The facility looked and smelled clean. There was also background music to set the mood. This clinic truly pushes the boundary of greatness in all dimensions. They offer a wide variety of frames for all skin tones and facial shapes. I highly recommend this clinic.

I just had an excellent experience at this eye doctor's office. The staff made my visit seamless. The eye doctor, Dr. Gorman, was professional and created a comfortable environment. The eye examination went quickly with the modern tools this office has. Glad I found you!
