Dr. Michael Lahood is very experienced and always answers any question I have. He is warm, attentive, and down to earth. He has been my eye doctor for over 30 years.

My mom had cataract surgery from him years ago so I got a referral for my 2 cataracts. He was thorough and was good with my questions. Both surgeries were painless, and were done before I knew it. Follow-up and staff were excellent. I can now see better than ever with no complications.

He's been my eye doctor for many years. He spends all the time you need because he cares. I very recently had cataract surgery for both eyes and now I have 20/20 vision in both. If you have a vision problem, He's the one to see.

First of all, one has no right to write a review unless one has been a patient of Dr. LaHood. His refusal to accept new patients is not a basis on which to criticize him. The fact that he cannot accept new patients is testimony to how good he is and he is entitled to have time to stay current on the science and treat as many patients as he can. That being said, I have been a patient of his for years and my only negative is the long waiting period it used to take. His office has gotten much better with the waiting times. If I am expected to be on time, then I expect to be granted the same courtesy and in the past 18 months there has been no problem with excessive waiting times.

TWICE waited a year for my appointment to see him. Can't remember the reason they gave at the last minute last time... But it made it so I couldn't see him until November 15, 2020. So, I waited ANOTHER year to see Dr. Lahood. Come to November 14th in the afternoon his office calls me...come to find out they changed my appointment WITHOUT TELLING ME!!! I am disabled & canNOT drive. They know this. They changed my appointment time & I couldn't get a ride there!!!! Needless to say, I'm NEVER going back there again!!!! They know I have Glaucoma & I REALLY needed glasses this time. Now I have to wait until March to see a Dr. Elder in Buffalo. Idc now tho, Elder's a MUCH better place!!! Their very demanding & judgemental of their patients at Dr. Michael Lahood's. Not patient friendly, esp to the disabled, sickly, or needy. They'll put your appointment outva YEAR to discourage you from going there. Good... They win!!! I'm NOT going there!!!!!!!

Was referred here by Brooks and ecmc hospital for having an object stuck in my eye. When I called to schedule an appointment for my follow up they tell me theyre not accepting new patients. What a joke. I live a street behind theyre office but they're telling me to go to a optometrist in Buffalo. Bad business.

Dr Lahood is an amazing opthalmologist! Listens, cares and does whatever he can to help! I never had a problem getting in to see him even when it was an emergency.

Took my mom for a follow up after an eyelash issue. Waited an hour and a half for her to be seen. Very, very disappointed in waiting time. Will not bring my mom here again.
