I have been coming to Dr. Berger for a few years now. My daughter now sees him as well as my mother. It's rare to find a doctor who combines professionalism with genuine compassion, but that's exactly what you get here. I truly trust his expertise and know I'm in excellent hands every time I visit. If you're looking for an eye doctor who is honest, knowledgeable, and truly cares about their patients, I couldn't recommend them more highly! Recently had an issue with my lens from a pair of glasses I got a little over a year ago. Dr. Berger took them back & got them fixed right away - no charge! I can't say enough good things about Uptown!

Just had my first appointment with Dr Berger in 20 years (he was also my eye doctor growing up!) and definitely recommend. The office is warm, modern, and extremely clean. It also felt very covid-safe. Personalized, convenient service from a caring professional.

The doctor and his staff are some of the most helpful and professional people I have ever encountered. I have been a customer of a large vision chain for 20 plus years. I much prefer a smaller practice where we get to know each other. Covid dictated the move and I'm glad I did. I received a quality eye exam and Dr. Berger gave me his opinion on upcoming cataract surgery. We agreed that it wasn't necessary at this time. He also advised me there was no need to purchase new glasses, even though he has an excellent inventory to choose from. Big chain would push sale first, regardless of my needs. I have found my new optometrist and would strongly recommend Dr. Berger to anyone who wishes to cut the chain and get competent personal eye care in a one on one setting where there aren't a dozen people in the same room.
