CARINAS CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS! The only reason I'm NOT leaving a low rating is because of HEIDI!!!!!!!!. I came here based on reviews, and from the moment I called, Heidi picked up the phone and was sweet, welcoming, attentive, and extremely informative. She made the entire experience smooth and comfortable. During my appointment, everything went great. As I was getting ready to leave, Heidi was taking her time comparing glasses for me and giving me extra information I needed (It was slow ) That's when CARINA made an unnecessary and unprofessional comment in front of me, saying: "Why are you wasting your time with someone who isn't interested in buying today?" CORRECT ; I wasn't buying that day. I was very clear with Heidi that I would be coming back once my glasses were ready, and I fully intended to purchase because of how well Heidi treated me. For context, I work in customer service and have been selling cars for 10 years. I'm a sucker for a great salesperson or GENUINE person , and will happily SPEND my money with the right person. That person was Heidi. But Carina's comment left such a bad taste in my mouth that I would rather not buy frames in that store because of that comment. I will still recommend this place to my coworkers but ONLY if you ask for Heidi and shes working that day If Carina/Karina is there ill make sure they wont go in that day CARINA YOU SHOULD SMILE MORE IT WILL PREVENT YOU FROM SAYING RUDE THINGS IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS = ) REMMEBER A1 customer service ask for HEIDI !

My husband and I had an amazing experience at this optical location. The receptionist was beyond knowledgeable, kind-hearted, respectful and professional. She made me feel like family. She understood the symptoms I had described to her and she helped me and my husband pick out the perfect frames. She was wonderful to my son and had made sure he was entertained and cared for. The rest of the staff was wonderful as well, very polite, kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Julia was absolutely amazing. She was very helpful, patient, knowledgeable and kind-hearted. I am picking this location to be my primary Optical clinic.

Professional and comprehensive eye exams and the staff is knowledgeable about all the latest lenses and eyewear!

I'm shocked at all the good reviews. My first impression on the phone was great. The day of the appointment comes and things start looking bad. I knew going into it that this wasn't the best location but I ignored that factor. You'd walk right past it if you didn't know the glasses place is inside the pharmacy. All of the men standing outside smoking and staring at women was not a great selling point either. Again, ignored all of this. This is the hood, that's what happens. If you can't handle it, don't be around it you know? I go in and the lady at the counter keeps looking up at me but doesn't make any motion or ask me what I need help with. The place is so disorganized that you can't tell where the line started or ended. No idea where I am supposed to check in. Finally speak to someone and sit down to wait for the papers. I look up and see brown sludge stains on the ceiling in multiple spots. I waited quite a while and decided to leave and go somewhere else. There's people shouting, people staring hard at you and just generally not a place you would want to be longer than you had to. Whoever answers the phone is truly wonderful to deal with. The rest of this place needs an update. The location really plays a big part in this and ultimately I'm sure the optometrist is lovely. It was just being stared down, leered at, ignored and cramped in a small dirty area was too much to deal with when it's that hot out. I honestly wish you better luck in your endeavors. A bigger layout would really help you guys a lot.

Man, this place is a total letdown. It's supposed to be a clinic, but it's just a cramped room stuck inside a pharmacy. And get this, you're not even in there alone--you're rubbing shoulders with all the other pharmacy customers waiting around. And don't even get me started on the staff. They're far from professional. All they care about is pushing their mediocre frame collections on you. Like seriously, they're not even that great. I really wish they'd shape up their attitude towards customers. If I could, I'd give them ZERO stars without a second thought!

I loved everything about my visit. Everyone is very professional! Haydee is amazing! Very refreshing having such a pleasant personality and kindness especially in far rockaway! Best customer services I have experience in awhile! They helped me pick out great glasses! The Dr. was very helpful with examining my eyes. I have extreme dryness and severe allergies. They recommended me and prescribed me great eye drops! If you have to check your eyes or have any eye concerns, please visit this location! Even for eye wear too!

The staff was attentive, respectful, kind, and understanding throughout selecting frames, eye exam, and after-care. The staff member was patient and polite during the lens trial. Great overall customer service. Do recommend.

Professional, solid, and detailed eye exam. The doctor took time to answer all the questions, and explain the results properly. Everyone was really friendly, and patient. Great experience - will recommend.
