Customer service are very rude. They do not greet you upon arrival. They look at you with disgust. The eye doctor in the back is rude and not kid friendly. He also rushed you and feels like your questions are a bother to him. I ordered a frame that wasn't covered by insurance and when my glasses came the bifocals were too high. They refuse to do anything about it. I will not be going there anymore. There is an optical on Beach 116 Street. Their service is a lot better and they are more professional.

Customer service is absolutely horrendous with this worst options of glasses at terrible prices. Good luck getting someone to answer the phone you're either getting sent to voicemail or fax.

I came with daughter here today. The front lady at the front desk was very unprofessional gossiping with another co-worker with about a patient who came there to inquire about her glasses. I was trying on glasses with my daughter she interrupted and said " those are too small for her face" before I could even get them on. First off this is my daughter and the opinion was not needed. The doctor was knowledgeable but spoke in a condescending in the way he spoke I did not like his energy at all. All I'm say is once I get the glasses I will not be returning to this facility.

Came in for an appointment and waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged by the front desk...there weren't any other patients there either. Once I saw the doctor he rushed through my exam and had no bedside manners. This optical should close horribly service.

I recently had a disappointing experience with this glasses store's customer service. The staff there are rude, disingenuous, and have a very limited knowledge base on eyewear technology and options. They have even gone so far as to directly call me a liar when I requested a follow-up on a REORDER the manager told me could take 2 weeks. I should mention that the manager initially refused to reorder a new lens to replace one that was delivered damaged. To attempt to see the defect on the lens, she raised her arms up to the store ceiling with the glasses in her hands and looked at the damaged lens through her own glasses, then confidently said to me, "I don't see the defect." The unprofessional conduct left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. That was the extent of their quality check. To make matters worse, the entire process to get one pair of prescription glasses, free of defects, took an unusually long time (44 days!), amplifying my dissatisfaction with their overall service and lack of accountability. Inexcusably poor customer service - which they attempt to mask by blaming everything but their own actions for. Do a bit more looking around before you settle for this place. At least until they address these issues to improve their customer relations.

When I went 2 years ago their was a male tec, I had the greatest time with him we laughed and had a awesome time. I went last year and I saw a female she was short with me and the lens kept fogging up because I guess I was breathing hard, she got so frustrated and said we will just use your previous prescription, she was really threw with me and didn't even hide it. I left out of there without the frames that I really wanted because I just wanted to leave.

Should of Listened to my Mama and not go to horrible place. I had a 1130 appt and I arrived on time and both receptionists were Nice and Professional (had no problems with them) The problems started when I met the doctor. The first thing I said was " I'm hard of hearing I read lips" The entire office had no mask on but him ( I didn't have a problem with the mask, his rights) Because he did not want to remove his mask he continued to ask me questions after I told him numerous time "I CAN NOT HEAR YOU I NEED TO READ YOUR LIPS" I then asked if he can allow his receptionist to come in and repeat what he said (since she had no mask on) I was told "NO it doesn't make sense to do that" I then asked about writing it down and again told the same answer. He was being very rude and ignorant. I immediately walked out hurt and confused. I've had hearing aids since I was 2 and glasses since I was 14 years and never treated like this. He needs to be reported. I went to Harbor Optics on Beach 113 the same day and received the best treatment.

I wish I would have read the Reviews before I came here. I was treated in a very "Unprofessional" manner. My first time coming here, and it was very disappointing. The Eye shop is very small, hardly anyone was wearing a Mask, including the Eye Doctor and some of the Staff is rude. They would not let you use the "Bathroom." I had to wash my hands on a makeshift sink on the Wall. The Eye Doctor is a bit sarcastic, and seems to not know much about anything when I asked him about my vision, stating "I would have had to bring my old eyeglasses in for him to see my prescription, " nevertheless he examined my eyes. I told him I could call my other Eye Doctor to get it to him whom was very Professional. He claimed that was not "legal" to do. I have worked in the "Medical" field previously, around all types of Departments and Doctors. This place seems to discriminate against people who have "Medicaid " insurance, and is very "Unfair" in which the manner they treat you. They don't know peoples circumstances. The glasses I was shown for my insurance were all broken up and the Lens were all scratched up. They seemed to not even care about the Glasses they show people who have "Medicaid." On top of that the Eye Doctor said that when I receive my glasses I might get a headache due to the prescription, which I never heard of before. Also that it would take 3 weeks for me to receive my glasses. I NEVER had to wait that long for my Eyeglasses from my other Eye Doctor. I had no other glasses to wear due to my old ones being broken. The only reason I came here was due to my old Eye Doctor was not accepting my particular insurance anymore. I advise anyone who has "Medicaid" insurance not to come to this place.
