Eyemazing Optometric Care/He Yi Xing Yi Sheng Yan Shi Guang Yan Ke

I don't usually write reviews, but I want to share my experience with Dr. He. I was referred by my cataract eye surgeon, Dr. Laiyin Ma, who is also very professional, smart and patient. Dr. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient, and he took the time to do a mono-vision contact lens simulation to help me prepare for my cataract IOL implant. He clearly explained all my options, including the LAL Light Adjustable Lens, so I could make an informed decision. Dr. He is also fluent in Cantonese, which made communication very comfortable. I highly recommend Eyemazing and Dr. He for excellent eye care.

Told me my Medicare wont cover designer frame, which is untrue. I have picked designer frame in other store the previous year and I have called my insurance to confirm. They just want people to spend out of pocket because the insurance reimburse them very little. I would not go back to this kind of unethical business. Plenty of options in Flushing. Also have to agree that a lot of these reviews seem fake/brought to boost their image/business. Eye solution on main street, who has been in business years before them doesn't even have 100 reviews yet. This store opened during mid covid and they have 260 reviews??? iLook only has 35 reviews. Hunter Vision who has been in business more than 15 years only has 56 reviews. All my family need glasses so we shop around a lot. Every time I pass by I don't see customer, the most one customer ( probably due to their location on the side street instead of on Main street. Optical businesses on main street get a lot more traffic.) And to be honest, stores in Flushing mostly serve their own kind of people. Very rarely do I see other people walking in these kind of stores in Flushing. Looking at there reviews I see a lot of names look very fishy. I live in Flushing and and pass by the store and other optical stores quite often, so I know what I am talking about.

Doctor He is a highly professional and patient doctor. He carefully explained the wearing process and various precautions to my daughter when she wore the OK lenses. He didn't let her start wearing them until he was satisfied with the adjustment. Under his detailed instructions, my daughter can now wear them by herself every day, and her vision has been controlled perfectly.

Great experience. Dr. Mistry took her time examining my eyes and explained what treatment methods I should use to prevent dry eyes. She was very patient and took her time answering all my questions.

I only came here with the recommendations from my Coworkers at zhong guo jie pharmacies and like Those pharmacies , this place is a scheming disaster. ! I strongly do not recommend Johnny . And the optometrist here . Both are pompous have an attitude and grossly inflate their prices. They messed up the color of the frames

Super great first time experience! Dr. He was very knowledgeable and helpful to provide tailored recommendations for my needs. The eye exam was very thorough and he made sure to let me know what the process was for each test in a step by step manner! Irene, at the front desk, was very friendly and straightforward about initial and next steps. She also provided a transparent explanation of the insurance and cost structure breakdown before the appointment which was very important. Kitty was patient throughout the process of explaining how to apply and remove contacts. She encouraged me throughout the process which made me feel very comfortable with the whole process. Overall 10/10 experience. Highly recommend.

Speak my language. And the doctor didn't rush me to do the surgery. And explained why insurance company might not covered the cost if I am not working.

The front desk staff were very nice upon arrival. I was seen promptly with my appointment. The whole experience with Doctor He Yixing was smooth. He was able to do all the tests needed to help me find my prescription (worried it got worse), but to my surprise everything was fine. The whole thing took maybe 30 min max. So I was there for a comprehensive eye test for my prescription and to get new glasses. He answered all questions I had with ease. The doctor and his staff were very upfront and transparent about the costs (no insurance) and made certain suggestions for the new glasses. They were able to measure me up for the new glasses. After we paid, I was told it would take 1-2 weeks to get the new glasses. I got the call literally 8 days later. It was a great experience overall.
