They became rude when they realized I don't purchase their overpriced glasses. I don't blame myself; online glass ordering is significantly cheaper, about 4-5 times so. Zenni offers such low prices that I'd love to order from them every day. To make matters worse, they didn't even provide me with a prescription and only showed it to me for me to take a picture of it.

All I have to say is that Eddie, the owner of Main Optical, runs one of the best optical stores not just in the five boroughs, but in the entire United States! I've been to other optical stores in Forest Hills, including Mega Vision in the past, and I wish I had found Eddie sooner. He helped my wife get a brand new pair of Cartier glasses, and he also repaired a one-year-old pair of Cartier glasses under warranty, going above and beyond. Please don't make the same mistake I did--go straight to Main Optical. If I could give him 10 stars, I would--but only five stars are available!

I bought glasses online for my child that broke. I had an extra pair that had another prescription and I came into Main optical to see if they can do a lense swap for me. They did it for me within minutes and did not even charge me. They really saved me and were so kind the whole time. I really appreciate it.

This was my first time at this establishment, and I just wanted to give praise and recognition to the kind woman that helped me at the counter by the name of Kat or Cat. I came in to get a wire on my semi rimless glasses fixed and she was able to assist me and fix it within 10 minutes or less. Now that's fast service thank you so much for your help
