I started out looking for a pair of glasses that one of my favorite teachers had, old school super round and just vintage. I went from store to store, even Manhattan, I couldn't find it, and even online. i knew these glasses would compliment my personality and "bring out the right snap"I then called a close friend who is a practicing optician. friend whom is an also in the eyeglass business, but couldn't help me find the exact pair. the following weekend I spent the day with my friend and in a store I see multiple sunglasses that have the frame I was looking for regular sunglasses, ( inexpensive) . I bought two pairs in total. later I was in search for someone who can match my prescription strength and cut a pair of glasses to fit the frame. I was suggested by my friend to visit unique opticals, but one problem theses glasses didn't unscrew where the frame would be placed, instead they had a sealed rim all around. Ari from unique optical was able to remove the lenses from the sunglasses with out any frame damage, was able to use them to cut my new prescription glasses right then and there, he also carried my strength in stock , and did the cutting in under 10 minutes, the price was very inexpensive. he then adjusted the new lenses to the new frame seamlessly, and my dream glasses where done., all in about 10 minutes and significantly lower than what I was willing to pay. and I had my dream glasses. and I still have a matching pair of sunglasses. he is just an honest professional. loved the experience.

My mom has undergone several complex eye surgeries, and after visiting Optical Unique, she felt so special and beautiful. Simon went above and beyond to help her find the perfect pair of glasses and also made great suggestions for lens options. I have been a client of this optical for about 13 years now and Ariel is the best. My eyes are highly sensitive due to my high myopia and with any minor Rx changes, my eyes have trouble adjusting. No matter how many times it takes to redo the lenses and find the right frame that works right for my eyes, Ariel would never give up, he never gets annoyed. He is very nice, understanding, patient, and he loves to help. I will definitely be recommending him to patients for their optical needs.

Getting glasses is easy and painless at Unique Optical. I was nervous about the whole process because finding out that my 10 year old needed glasses came out of the blue. I've never worn glasses and didn't know how the whole process worked. It was easy and painless. I am even going back tomorrow a year later to get her another pair.
