This office is crazy specially the billing department. I paid $245 with insurance for two visits and they are keep sending me bills.
When I called them they said I don't owe anything then who the heck are they to send me bills every other day. The visit was done more than a year ago. I am gonna put all the bills and records out here. When I logged in online it shows "all bills paid". Such an unprofessional people running this business. Dr. Doshi is may be smart but she used Q-tips to open my eyes to exam, Why? When your eyes hurt and you can barely open it she opens with Q-tips Yes it hurt a lot. If she can't touch a patient she shouldn't be a Doctor.
How can I post all the pictures here??
I also got $600 bill from their lawyer but they said I don't owe them.

I have been an OCLI patient for last ten years, getting my eye drops with no problem, but last week l went on an appointment at Glen Cove office, but l didn't know why l did not get my prescription for my glasses. I have been calling for the last two weeks but got no response. I would appreciate if somebody can give me a call back.

I wish there was an option for zero stars. Making appointments by phone is impossible. What should be less than a 5 minute phone call is at least 15 to 20 minutes because you sit on hold forever. You also can't make more than 2 appointments together so when you have a family, you have to make multiple trips and take multiple days off from work or fight with a manager to get an exception. If that wasn't bad enough, we show up to the appointment, only to come to a sign on the door that the appointments have been cancelled because the office is closed and you should have received and email notification. And clearly, I wasn't the only one who didn't get the email, given the other confused patients standing outside the door and in the parking lot. No phone call to reschedule, no communication, nothing. When I called the useless call center to reschedule, the response from Linda, the call center rep was to "save the complaint for a manager".

Dr Doshi has a quiet, calming way about her. She makes you feel comfortable. She explains things very well. The care is very thorough and up to date. I feel confident that I am in good hands. The main drawback to this practice is that they consistently run very late. For my recent appointment I was there for over two hours.

I have been going to Dr. Shima for years now and happy until i was scheduled for laser surgery recently. She is an excellent doctor but the surgical coordinator Shakira i worked with is the worst. She did not follow up with me or the pharmacy if i had my prescription issued well ahead of my scheduled surgery. I have heard similar complaints about her.
The surgery was cancelled because their office did not coordinate properly with Island Surgery Center. My time was wasted that early morning.
I am feeling very uncomfortable going back to their office because of Shakira.

Despite my very first visit for my dad when staff were out due to illness and wait times were horrible, I have now realized that was indeed an isolated incident. OCLI Glen Cove is beautifully run, and very punctual. Dr. Doshi is very patient and takes the time to explain things simply and completely. Very happy with all subsequent visits and will continue bringing my dad here.
