AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AWFUL EMPLOYEES. I cant even begin to explain my experience with this so called "cat shelter" They claim to love the cats and do whats best for them but they definitely do not. My whole experience with JANICE and DEB were terrible from the very beginning. Both extremely rude, condescending and passive aggressive. The other reviews that say similar things are exactly on point. They would not give us our cats back even when the microchip connected back to us. They told us that they were going to place my cats up for adoption and then proceeded to block me from their socials. I rehomed my two cats and a couple that we chose had rehomed them and the people they chose did not care about the cats and let their cats out as soon as we got the email saying that one of our cats was found due to the microchip, we told janice from the very beginning that we want to come pick up our cat. We told her multiple times we are ready to come pick up moonshine and they would NOT let us, on the last day they told us that they were going ahead and putting our two cats back up for adoption and that we are no longer qualified to adopt them back. WHICH IS ILLEGAL BY THE WAY. How does that even make sense. We are connected to the microchip and we are the registered owners. We should have every right to come pick up our cats. They steal peoples cats here. If you find a cat, please do not bring it here because the owner may not ever see their cat ever again. they WILL adopt it out illegally. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SHELTER. if anyone wants more information, please reach out to me and I will give you the whole story. I have screenshots and proof of everything.

This establishment has subpar customer service, despite their stated commitment to prioritizing feline welfare. The two female representatives I interacted with exhibited unprofessional behavior, attempting to withhold our cat from us. They were willing to place the cat in the foster system rather than return it to us, citing our perceived demeanor towards them. Their communication was inadequate, and they failed to rectify their mistake or address our concerns. After a two-week period and considerable effort, we were reunited with our cat. I found Janice to be unprofessional and ill-suited for her role, as she even disclosed that they had already renamed our cat, which I considered careless and extremely rude. I would never recommend this place.

I don't like this place at all, my outside cat was taken from me and dropped off there, and Janice Olsen Was extremely judgmental and unprofessional and rude. I waited two weeks to get my cat back from them. She would not get back to me. She was extremely rude to me and I don't think that she should be in that position if she's going to let her ego get in the way of doing the right thing. She's on a complete power trip I see stuff like this all the time.

Denied us because our cat's distemper was due (we got the notice literally two days before) and told us that we were in "breach of contract" even though everything with all 4 of our pets is up to date, like vaccines magically stop working the exact date they're due. They said even if we get it now (which we absolutely were always going to), they have to say no. Absolutely ridiculous.

Anyone that helps out animals is five stars in my book! I've donated old blankets and towels to this organization. I've only heard positive things about this place!

Janice is do self centered she thinks she's better than the cat please find someone who is more caring than her she disgust me.

I do love what they are doing, I've gotten 2 cats from them within the past 8 years. My only thing is they are horrible able replying to you. I've messaged them on their clearly active Facebook account 4 times in the past 5 years, they will look at the messages and never reply. I was going to donate cat food to them that my cats weren't liking and got no response. I messaged to check in of 2 kittens I found that I was told were being sent to them and they looked at it and didn't answer. Asked them if they helped with abandoned cats and again no amswer... I just figured this day in age with how everyone's using socials now I'd get a response but I guess not.

After the death of one of my cats, I happened to pass by one of the streets where I lived and a sign announcing that this site offered cat adoption options. I was heading there. They allowed me to enter since it was not a visiting day and I was able to see some cats and among them I saw a black cat, which caught my attention. His name was Samuel. I proceeded to fill out the adoption application. It was not very difficult, but I can say that I had to do it four times, which should be important for this entity to review what may be happening with online applications from a cell phone or from a computer because the application is not confirmed. It took me about 3 hours while I repeated the process. It might be good to create users and save the information. They asked me for some additional requirements, but I can say that I am very happy with my cat. His name is "Sonne" and despite the fact that he is a cat that has had a difficult past, it took him about 9 months to be adopted, but I am very happy with him. Thank you very much for allowing me to have "Sonne" in my home.
