Dr. Arlene Schwartz, OD

My daughter Celine Mafaraci is a patient of Dr. Schwartz and came to have her eyes examined for new lenses to her existing eye glasses. As usual, Dr. Schwartz is an amazing, knowledgeable , caring and hands on optometrist. Returning this time with my , daughter it felt like we were family and that we had a close bond with Dr. Schwartz. Even Ellen the office secretary, was like family to us as well. Dr. Schwartz and my daughter even laughed together and demonstrated a true connection to each other which was beautiful to see. My daughter can be a bit of nervous person in the world but with Dr. Schwartz she is totally comfortable and ready to do the one or two or three or the same wording used for the exam , lol , as daughter describes to be difficult with other eye doctors but not with Dr. Schwartz. So if your looking for an eye doctor, who gives you wonderful eye care, please do not hesitate to call and make an appointment!

High Praise I had a horrific injury to my left eye. Doctor Schwartz was recommended to fit me with contact lenses, especially for the left eye. Her chair side manner is exceptional because my left eye had very little vision. It wasn't easy to get vision for the eye but Doctor Schwartz continued to encourage me that she would be successful in achieving the best possible vision for me. Through the entire process, Doctor Schwartz was professional and patient. Thanks to the Doctor my vision is much improved. She is the ultimate professional and her staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. Thank you! James C. Nicholson

I was expecting an eye exam, but I got so much more. What a hands-on, professional staff, and what a great experience it was to deal with Dr. Schwartz, who clearly CARES about her patients and does not view them as numbers. I was humbled indeed by the time she took to explain and diagnose my problems. This was a first for me: a Dr. who actually took photos of my eyes with my own smartphone so I could have a record of the condition under discussion! Just one of the many things she did, all designed to assist me in understanding and developing a course of treatment and a long range plan for eye care . I am very glad to have found this practitioner and this office. .

I'm beyond ecstatic. I tried getting new eyeglasses for over 2 years and they were never right. Either the prescription was off or the glasses themselves were not constructed properly. I was starting to lose hope. I never thought the day would come when I would have a new pair of glasses that worked the minute I put them on. No more headaches or eye strain. I can't thank Dr. Schwartz enough. Her entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Wow!

I was diagnosed with Keratoconus last year and could not see clearly even with glasses on. Everything was blurry 24/7. I was referred to Dr. Schwartz by my cornea specialist for scleral lenses. She was so knowledgeable about this condition and the scleral lenses. She worked very closely with me teaching me how to put them in and take them out. Today I can see all thanks to Dr. Schwartz! Dr. Schwartz and her staff are amazing and professional. I highly recommend her for any optical needs you may have, especially if it is concerning keratoconus and scleral lenses.

Dr. Schwartz is an outstanding optometrist. She spent an enormous amount of time testing my vision and then finding a perfect prescription for me for glasses. I highly recommend her.

Arlene Schwartz is incredible. She is knowledgeable, patient, always wants to learn more and actually cares about her patients. She has saved me with sclera lenses from constant pain. Highly recommended!!!
