I had a wonderful experience at Sterling Optical in Islandia! The eye care specialist, Kelly was absolutely amazing. She was so polite, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout my visit. My eye exam with the doctor was very thorough, and I felt well taken care of from start to finish. The entire staff is always so lovely and welcoming, and they go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable. Highly recommend this location!

Absolutely terrible experience. The owner, Raj, made me feel super uncomfortable the entire time and kept pushing pointless "upgrades" like I didn't know what I needed. The staff wasn't any better, fake nice, zero real customer service, and they could barely communicate with me due to language barrier. The whole thing was a mess from the exam to the end.
Save yourself the stress and DO NOT go to this place. I walked out frustrated, overwhelmed, and honestly wishing I had never stepped inside.

DO NOT BUY YOUR GLASSES AT STERLING ISLANDIA they sell you the display glasses and when they break they charge to fix them. Absolutely the worst customer service . They do not care about the customers Run away !

They lie to get more money here, they told me my prescription was "too strong" and required a special lens that my insurance wouldn't cover and would be hundreds of dollars, went somewhere else and they said what are you talking about your insurance covers it and I had my lenses and frames covered, shameful.

This place is the worst. They have a huge overhead so don't come here if you want to get charged a leg and an arm!!! Walmart had better deals in the same lot! That's the best tip you get before you go there! Everything was so expensive it was almost like you didn't have a vision health plan! I swear i think some places I would have got a better deal with a Groupon than coming here! This place should have been call Expensive Optical! Don't just fill out forms see what you like and see what you are getting into! You have been warned!
