Had my first appointment today for an exam and new glasses with insurance. Receptionist was friendly. Intake and wait time was quick. Dr V. was thorough and listened. (I have some eye issues that complicate things.) Gary did a nice job then helping me pick out new frames that would meet my unique circumstances and explained what insurance would cover. I'm legally blind without my glasses, so choosing frames can be stressful. Gary had some tricks up his sleeve to help with that. I'm really satisfied with this office and pick up my new glasses in 2 weeks. Their regular prices are better than most local places that I've been to, so I recommend them highly.

I started going to Dr Vonvolen after I got new insurance and he was one of the few that took it. I needed a new script for contacts and updated glasses. Him and his staff were very helpful and kind. While my contacts were on order and I was wearing my last pair my cats ate them overnight...When I reached out about getting an emergency pair he let me know they would be waiting for me at no charge. I went to Walmart before and while the turnaround time was quicker, I did not get that nice of service. 10/10 recommend

After losing my eye doctor of 21 years due to him dropping my insurance, I knew finding another one was going to be a challenge. I was able to get in to Dr. Von Volen's office quickly. Excellent service and wonderful staff. Dr. Von Volen was very thorough and answered all questions I had.

Absolutely great experience. Made me specialty glasses for computer work. Very good price and service. Highly recommend

He was kind! But if you have issues with your eyes don't bother. He didn't dilate my eyes but told me I don't have cataracts or anything! But he can't know that without dilating the eye. If all you need is reading glasses or your year end eye examination he would be perfect for you.
