Love this doc. He is personable and patient and explains findings clearly. Although he is a glaucoma specialist, he screens for other opthalmic issues. Picked up a potential lower lid skin cancer, showed me changes in lid appearance during recent visit versus one year ago. Made an immediate referral. I feel fortunate that Dr. Schumer cares for my eyes and me.

Excellent doctor and staff. Went to Dr. Schumer after a botched cataract operation by a well known Florida eye surgeon who nearly blinded me and the pressure in my eyeballs went out of control. It took a while working with Dr. Schumer, nothing heals overnight, but I now have my vision back and my pressure is down significantly.
Interesting fact: He was recommended by a competing medical facility as being the best.
