Went to LensCrafters for the first time. Walked around a little bit to check out the eyeglasses before anyone acknowledged me. My eye exam if you even want to call it that, started with a young girl sitting me in the back room with the machine that checks your perception. She couldn't get the machine long enough for me to put my face in so she said guess not. We're not doing this and bypassed that whole procedure. Actual eye exam took less than 10 minutes. Very disappointed and to make it worse apparently their lab could not make my lenses so I wasted an hour of my day. Won't go back. I'm surprise insurance even pays for this. Employees were apathetic.
I had a call with a person named Jenny to schedule an appointment for eye exam - at the store in 230 Kings Mall Court Kingston
Kingston, NY 12401.
She was unprofessional, rude and frankly very irritating. She sounded very demeaning and the tone of her voice was unacceptable. You can chose to retain this person but it will only make you loose your customers. The directions or steps were not explained properly, name wasn't pronounced sincerely. We were confused if the glasses will be mailed or we need to pick up. She spoke like it was expected for us to know their business process already. We asked if the information about our insurance coverage will be told to us, and she was like this will take time and wont say now. Understood but she could have said that in a better way.
In my previous visit, I think I dealt with Harry and he was a gentleman. But this Jenny just left us with a very sour impression.
My friends say they are not going anywhere near that store now. So yeah.
Harry is a pleasure to work with every time I encounter him. He is so friendly, personable and pretty knowledgeable on the glasses and product. I'm sure Im not the only customer who always has a positive experience when working with him. He deserves a raise. Thank you Harry!!!
My recent visit to LensCrafters in Kingston was an absolute pleasure, thanks to their incredible team. From the moment I walked in, I was met with warmth and professionalism that made the entire experience easy and enjoyable.
First, I had my eye exam with Miranda, the optometrist. She was incredibly sweet and thorough, making me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She patiently answered all my questions about my prescription and made sure I understood everything. Her kindness and expertise were truly top-notch.
After the exam, I met with Lydia to choose my new frames. I often get overwhelmed by all the options, but Lydia guided me with her fantastic eye for style. She helped me find the perfect frames that fit my face shape and personal style, all while keeping my budget in mind. Thanks to her, I got a pair I absolutely love for a great price.
Finally, Helpful Harry took care of the final touches. He expertly sized my new frames to ensure a perfect fit, and he even helped me by taking the lenses out of a pair I already owned so I could use them for something else. His attention to detail and helpful attitude made me feel so well cared for.
The entire Kingston LensCrafters team--Miranda, Lydia, and Harry--was simply the best. Their combined knowledge, patience, and genuine care made my visit unforgettable. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of eye care and new glasses. You won't be disappointed!!!!
Very personable. Brought my BRAND NEW glasses (10 days old) after an incident and not only were they sympathetic and really felt the sadness with me. They went out of their way to reassure me I could use my insurance and pay a fraction which was a great comfort to me.
Made an appointment, confirmed the appointment, and they told me I had no appointment. I had the confirmation email and they said even if they look it up they won't see me. Filled out a complaint form and they couldn't even be bothered to reach out and say sorry. Every time I went in there I saw people arguing about the same thing, but I didn't think it would be me. Very disappointing.
This is for store in Kingston (NY) in Kingston Mall: Yujin who provided assistance in purchasing glasses was amazing, kinds and extremly helpful. However, doctor's appointment attendance and associate that works with the doctor, were extremly disappointing. I had virtual appointment scheduled at 9.30 and was waiting for 30 min without any informatikn. At 10 I had to ask if my appointment will actually take a place. Only then I was told by the Dr's associate - with no appologie or even looking at me - that she was running late this morning with her schedule with my virtual appointment so she changed my appoinment and I will now need to wait to see doctor in person - he/she was suppose to arrive in 2 minutes. At 10.15 there was still no doctor, I got no new infor or any kind of acknowledgement and when I said that I cannot wait anymore as I have to go back to work, the Associate offered next appointment 2 weeks latter. Still no appology or any attempt to acknowledge her mistake or offer help. Very disapointing. I will be booking my appointment in another place. Highly recommend sale staff at this store, but doctors office is disassterr
Thank you To Everyone, Especially Jenny. She Helped me Pick out My favorite Frames. Very Patient and Plucky at the Same Time. There Was No waiting Time and Jenny helped me get The 50% offer for Two pair of glasses. Really Pleasant Experience and The Store is Immaculate. Looking forward To Round Two.
So 5 Stars for Jenny! I liked The AI Also.
