Great experience from start to finish I had a really great experience at L Eye C Optics. The staff were super friendly and helpful -- not pushy at all, just genuinely interested in helping me find the right pair of glasses. They walked me through everything and made the process really easy. There were a lot of cool, stylish frames to choose from, and they helped me pick something that actually fit my face and my personality. The eye exam was smooth and professional, and my new glasses feel great. I can see clearly, and I've gotten a bunch of compliments from my coworkers already!

The best optometry practice! Been going here for the last several years and it's always been a great experience. Dr Hu really sets the bar for optometrists. Highly recommend!

A friend recommend me this place and at first I was a bit hesitant just because I usually have my go to places for glasses. I'm glad I listened to him since the glasses I bought were perfect. The store was very clean and has a lot of frames and brands to choose from that you don't normally see in other places. I was looking for something in particular and the store associate was able to show me a frame that matched what I wanted and that worked well with my face. I already had a current RX and they were ok with that. I wasn't pressured for any upselling services like in some stores I have been to and they even educated me the different types of lenses and things they can do to frames to help suit my needs. I would definitely come back when I need to get a new pair of stylish glasses. Thanks again!

I had a WONDERFUL experience at L Eye C Optics with my difficult eye prescription and inability to adapt to progressive lenses (old habits die hard LOL). I work on a computer most of the day and read a lot and have been wearing glasses since I was a kid. L Eye C helped me figure out the best plan for me, got me all set up with great contact lenses and a few super cute pairs of frames in no time. Everyone was friendly and accommodating from start to finish. 10 out 10 recommend!

If you are looking for an eye doctor or glasses in LIC, this is the one!! I chose this place randomly because I thought the name was funny, but I honestly had the best eye appointment experience I have had in NYC. - Making the appointment was so easy! I called the number on google maps and the receptionist was very kind and patient. I got a text confirmation about my appointment - The storefront was professional and clean, and the best part was, it was not too overwhelming with too many options. I think my biggest problem with choosing glasses is having too many choices and I liked how this place has a good selection of quality brands. - The doctor I saw was so awesome at explaining everything. I felt like I was at a science class, not a doctor's appointment! I feel much more confident in understanding my own eyes. (I think her name was Lynn?) - I was able to stay under my budget and the staff there were very understanding and was able to help me use my insurance to the fullest

Wish I could give them 6 stars! I commute from Brooklyn to visit this shop because they invest the time to make sure I have everything I need and the glasses I order are perfect for me and are maximizing my insurance benefit. Every person I have worked with has universally been delightful, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile! Seriously go here!

I needed to have the eye drops for dry eyes they prescribed changed because they caused a bitter postnasal drip. Instead of simply helping me switch to a different prescription, they insisted I schedule another visit -- which felt unnecessary. It came across as a way to bill me and my insurance again, rather than putting my comfort and health first. While the practice itself isn't terrible, it's clear their priority is profit over patient care.

My wife and my daughter had an excellent experience at LEYEC Optics. I had recently purchased a pair of prescription glasses for my daughter while traveling overseas, thinking everything would be fine. However, once we returned home and began using them, she realized something was off and her vision didn't feel quite right. I scheduled an appointment to see if they could take a look. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and understanding. Even though I hadn't purchased the glasses through them, they were determined to help. The doctor carefully examined the glasses and immediately noticed that my daughter's prescription seemed off. She took the time to test the lenses and thoroughly examine my daughter to determine her correct perscription. Sure enough, the script from abroad had been filled incorrectly. Instead of making my wife feel rushed or uncomfortable about the situation, both Angie and the doctor explained everything in a calm and reassuring way, and offered to help correct it. Angie went above and beyond and guided my wife through the options for getting my daughter's lenses redone locally. She made it a priority so that my daughter could see clearly and comfortably again. My family will absolutely be returning here for all of our future eye care needs and will be recommending this office to family and friends without hesitation.
