Agape Eye Care

If there were 10 stars I would pick that - I have been to many eye care offices and this is the best. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who really helps to maximize your eye care benefits and do what's best for you. Very customer focused.

Agape is a wonderful full service eyecare facility. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel relaxed, not your typical "medical " experience. Dr. Crow is patient and thorough, the receptionists are friendly and welcoming, and Gary and his team not only help you select glasses that both fit your needs and appearance, but adjust them to perfection. I would recommend this place to everyone for all their eye care needs.

I have been a patient at Agape for many years. They have always been wonderful. Last week they went above and beyond. I was having an issue with my eye and they got me in immediately, which I can assume was a lot of shuffling of patients! After extensive testing done by Dr. Crowe she had diagnosed me with a retina tear. Within an hour she had made calls and got me in to a surgeon ( Dr Jacob Lee in Latham) and had laser surgery done that day. Her knowledge, skills and expertise saved my eye! I can't thank the team enough! Agape- is the perfect name. They love on their patients. Highly, highly recommend them!

I wouldn't go elsewhere for my eye care needs! It's easy to get an appointment and they offer later hours for folks working a 9-5 some evenings which is a huge plus. The optician, Gary, is extremely accommodating and friendly. I was on vacation and had a contact lens emergency and he was able to get me replacements over night and this saved the trip. I highly recommend agape for both contacts and eyeglasses as well as any specialty sportswear items that are eye related! Thank you!

The entire staff at Agape was amazing. After years of large chain eye exams, the difference with Dr. Crowe was incredible. She was able to correct my contact lenses to a proper fit and explained the difference. She took the time to ensure that my sight was where it should be. Mr. Weaver, the Optician, then spent the time to review what was covered by my insurance, the different options for lenses for glasses and helped pick out frames. Overall fabulous experience!

My first experience consisted of the front staff telling me I'm not insured. After they found my insurance it was smooth sailing. I got a pair I liked my insurance paid 100 towards them . The guy in the back was great .Nothing to write about. So yesterday I broke my glasses. I went and had to face the front staff who again ran around trying to find my insurance. Well they now said they don't take it and pretty much pushed me out the door luckily the guy in back fixed my glasses because they were under warranty.They are still broken and he never ordered another frame. The thing is they never once asked if I wanted to continue there. They just wanted me to leave, is this place strictly for people who have the right insurance? I guess I did thru WellCare but they no longer take it. Has this company ever heard of a patient paying themselves?Proably not because they are so expensive And not very caring. There the worst !!!

I had been using a different ophthalmologist in Saratoga and wanted to find something a bit closer. All of the staff, doctor included were incredibly outgoing and friendly, they even offered to fix my old readers when I thought I was doomed. Drew helped me find a very similar pair of what I already had and they are perfect.

Dr. Crowe and the entire staff were very kind and thorough. I'm terrible with names, but the two ladies in the front were lovely and so was the glasses guy. Everyone was patient and friendly and helped me a lot with finding new glasses and contacts. A very pleasant experience
