Edit 7/28/25- Dr. Schenker and his staff continue to amaze me. It has been years since I've met a doctor that truly goes above and beyond even outside of office hours to get the patients the help they need. I came into the office with rare neurological simptons that were affecting my eyes. After doing a thorough check he determined it was not eye related but he was so worried and invested in helping me find a solution that he texted a few ophthalmologist that he knew to get me into an appointment right away for more testing and opinions. The next day he even followed up to check in and told me to please reach back out to him once I saw a neurologist and got to the bottom of the issue. After this kind act I now trust Dr. Schenker and his staff even more with my family's eye needs because I know he will always do the right thing and won't ignore a patient's concern. 2024 Everyone is so friendly and nice. Love this office and Dr.Schenker has been treating our entire family for years. He's very knowledgeable and answers any questions or concerns you may have. Just yesterday my son hurt his eyes at school as soon as I left the school I came to the office without an appointment to schedule one and as soon as we walked in they all greeted us and he saw him and treated his eye right away.

My experience at Dr. Schenkers office was excellent from making my appointment to my exam, which was very thorough, to choosing my new glasses and follow-up. He and his staff are professional, yet fun loving and caring. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Schenker for your eye care needs.

Janet is the best at helping me pick out frames that worked for my face. And Sam, he knows his stuff!! He is a great eye Dr that makes you really feel at ease and informed. Dr. Schenker has been my optometrist for many, many years. He is personable and does a thorough job examining my eyes. His office staff is the best!

My husband went to Dr. Shenker because he had and has low vision due to diabetes. His eyes were examined and he was given a pair of glasses. Nothing more was done for him to help him with his low vision. Within 2 months, the lenses started popping out of the frames. He refused to go back to Dr. Shenker because he felt it would be a waste of time. Dr. Shenker never offered to show my husband special devices that would aid him in low vision reading. Recently, my husband saw another eye specialist recommended by the Catholic Guild. What a difference! She checked his vision loss and showed him devices specially made for the vision impaired. I too went to Dr. Shenker for eye glasses. I was not happy with my glasses from day one. Dr. Shenker said I just had to get use to them. Well, I didn't. I paid a LOT of money for a pair of glasses that sit in a drawer.
