The front desk is rude and snappy. The doctor is dismissive. There was a scheduling error that could have been easily resolved in the 2 times I called MONTHS beforehand yet they "called multiple times in the summer and never got an answer".
I called to make an appointment as a new patient. The receptionist said she was in the meeting and she would give me a call back. After waiting about 15 minutes, I had to call her back. The receptionist seemed irritated saying that she was still in the meeting and told me to wait for another 15 minutes. When I asked for her name she in return asked for my name and said she would call me back in 5 minutes this time. This is NOT the way you treat a future patient. By the way, when I insisted her for her name, she said Jenny(?)
Dr Soo Mee Pak is wonderful she has treated my whole entire family, unfortunately I will not be returning to her office. This is all due to her front desk receptionists. They are rude, have terrible attitudes, and horrendous customer service skills. The old lady at the front especially. She is always in a bad mood like she does not want to be there or talk to anyone.
Patient from more than 5 years and this year has the worst costumer service, over charged and not professional in keeping records of ther patients receipt. Happened twiced telling me I never payed my contact , knowing they would never let me walk out with out paying. Unwilling to cooperate and clearly a clinic that only cares about money. Found a new clinic and currently paying a lot less for the same service. Recommed looking for different options before calling here
Dr Pak has given me a new lease on life! I knew my eyesight had changed over the years but until my eye exam with Dr Pak I had no idea how much. Naturally I was nervous at the thought of eye surgery, but she and her staff gave me the reassurances I needed to move ahead and I'm so glad I did! Bennie helped me with all my medical paperwork and the onsite optician, Tony, helped me transition from glasses during the process. Once I had my right eye fixed I would have gladly let her do my left eye the next day!! The difference in my vision between the fixed right eye and my soon to be fixed left eye allowed me to see just how profound an impact cataracts had on my vision. The procedure itself was around 15 min. and there was no pain whatsoever. Now with both eyes done I see can the world clearly. I am grateful to Dr Pak and her entire staff for making this transition an easy one!
I have been to the office a total of TWO times for myself. First time was June of 2024 when I had an eye exam. I was interested in new glasses and new contacts. I had to pay for the contact fitting out of pocket? Okay. After the exam I paid my insurance deductible the contact lenses fitting price and was told to have a nice day. Ummm, where do I pick out my new glasses and confirm what contacts I'm getting? Okay, so I sit for a bit and a man comes up to me and asks me what I need, okay, so Hi, my name is so and so, and you are? He says he is Tony?, I believe, if I remember correctly. He asks what I needed. I advised I just had an eye exam and contact fitting and I am interested in getting both. He asks what insurance I had, I told him and goes on his computer and says 'well you only have this much $$ available with the insurance', okay, so can I look at the glasses and possibly select one? Well since you have only this much $$ available you can get either contacts or glasses. Mind you, I never asked for an option. I went with the intention of getting both, but it seems he made the decision maybe I didn't want both? Okay so I'm getting frustrated, I ask a few more questions about my options and end up leaving the office with the script for new glasses in hand. But not the script for the contact fitting, as he would not give it to me.
Fast forward to late February this year, I need contact. I call and ask the names of contact again and if the options I have available to me. I choose to get a 3 month supply of the clariti toric 1 day. Two boxes as the vision in my eyes differ. He tells me the total is $156. I say okay, what do I know about contact lenses prices? He asks if I want to pay with a card I have on file with them, I say I will pay when I pick up.
Today I went to pick up and I was told that I never ordered any contacts, I said I did. I placed the order with Tony? fast forward a minute of the young woman typing she asks, 'did you pay for them' I say no, I will pay now. She says 'okay, that's why' that's why what?
So I get my card out ready to pay and she calls Tony who is in a glass partial cubicle with someone else and she says ' how much are the ..... contacts, but look, look, look' she's waving her hand holding the contacts while I'm standing there, making sure that Tony? "Looks" over. Why is this happening? I have no idea. If the price is the price, why does Tony? Have to "look" over at them to confirm? it was giving 'look at who is picking them up' to me. Ehmm, so he says $186 and hangs up with her. I ask why are they $186 when he told me over the phone the price was $156? The young woman, with an attitude? Says, well he said they're $186. I was shocked, appalled, unsure of how to proceed, so I, being the the 'you will not make me stoop down to your level' type of person I am, I paid the $186 and left. The receipt the young woman gave me isn't even for contacts. It's for the contacts exam I already paid for in June of 2024. So I googled how much it typically costs for these types of contacts I just paid $186 for and they are coming up WAY less. So did I just get got??? I'm not going back there. They made me feel uncomfortable and singled out(in a bad way) especially when the young woman made it a POINT to have Tony? Look over at her/me/the contacts? When I went to pick them up. Like that was how he determined the price I would be paying?

Very nasty and unprofessional. Called to make an appointment and told them my insurance. They asked that I provide insurance referral from my primary care. I did that and made appointment.
They do ask for a credit card upfront. They then called me back and said they had now decided not to take my insurance and would have to cancel my appointment-no discussion. They did offer to see me if I would pay--No chance
Not nice people-stay away
Me and my family have been using this office for about 10 years and service is excellent. Wonderful staff and Dr. Pak is great, she has diagnosed and treated two eye conditions that I no longer suffer from! In addition, the area to purchase your glasses is great as well. I've never had a bad experience or problem. People that I have recommended have commented to me the same as well.
