From beginning to end of my appointment, I walked in and was greeted by everyone in the front. Professional and courteous. Told them I had an appointment at 1040, the ask for some info, explained in full detail what the insurance covered and offered to have a sit or to browse the selection. I was called back to room very promptly and my exam started. Very throughly and knowledgeable of every aspect of the process. After the exam I was called up to sit down and try on some glasses and had a full run down of timeframe and cost expectations for the lenses and contacts I ordered. I was so happy with my full experience with the whole team. So amazed at the professional friendly warm atmosphere of the location in new Hartford. Kudos to the whole team. I can't wait to go back when the order comes in.

I would Avoid Visionworks at all costs if your appointment is at four, they'll see you at 5:30 if your lucky crass customer service. Recent appointment at the Utica office waited 2 1/2 hours finally left after not seeing the doctor. I would not recommend this business to anyone buyer beware.

Went to this location yesterday for the first time for my exam. Was really impressed with staff especially with Olivia she was super kind and helpful when i ordered contacts prior. Overall, i had a great experience. Doc was super thorough during exam and helpful. Definitely recommend!

They always make you wait 1-2 hours for your eye exam wasting your time instead of scheduling properly. Last time I went the optometrist was very unprofessional during the eye exam... when I wasn't sure and asked to see 1 vs 2 again she kept acting annoyed like I'm being a pain or something and was rude about it so I just went with either when I wasn't sure. End result I ended up with a prescription that is incorrect and I can read text far away much better with my old prescription/glasses. Also they're a total rip off and you can get prescription glasses and sunglasses online for 1/10 the price. I will be going somewhere else in the future.
