Allegany Eye Associates

I have been to a few different Eye Doctor's offices in the area and I must say Allegany Eye is certainly one of the better ones. The office has excellent hours, I'm able to get in before work, which is always appreciated to not use time off. The tech, the optometrist and the ladies that help you select and fit your glasses were all so pleasent. The office was very clean and had enough seating in the waiting area that you didn't have to sit directly on top of others also waiting. I've been there twice my wait was not long at all. I initially wasn't sure about the office because the front desk staff wasn't the most inviting but the rest of the staff and the environment made up for it. Glad I stuck it out and I'll continue to go to Allegany Eye as well as move the rest of my family's eye care there as well.

Its a small thing, however, I would much appreciate that the posted hours online and on their voicemail be accurate. I called at 4:50 to inquire if the prescription I ordered was in yet and it went a voicemail stating they were closed and that their hours were 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Thank you Courtney for helping us out when my daughter was home from college and broke her glasses!! No hesitation in helping us out! Appreciated it!

After years there. Had eye test for script differances.after dr exam. Girl did eye test for script changes then told to checkout. As she left.room 4 days later still dont know if changes or not,..

Eye 'doctor' doesn't know anything about contacts (his words not mine). Optical department employees more cute than experienced. Never have my contact script on hand...have to wait weeks for them to "come in". Always a frustrating endevor.

I've dabbled in several of the local optometry offices for eye care over the years and Allegany Eye is my last stop. I have had nothing but great experiences at Allegany Eye and I can't speak highly enough! The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and all around really great people. Their selection of glasses is like no other, they go above and beyond to provide high quality care and you don't have to wait forever for an appointment!! Highly recommend.

After 20 minutes of the phone ringing busy on a Monday afternoon, then being put on hold, I asked for an appointment but didn't have my insurance card handy and they told me to call back when I have it. They were not even going to give me an appointment without it. "People say they will call back with it all the time and don't - it's nothing personal." Nothing personal but when you can't even get through to the office and then when you do (like for my last couple of appointments) you have to wait 3+ months for an appointment, no, I don't want to waste another 30 minutes of my life trying to get through to your office. My time is as valuable as theirs. You get a 1 star for your policies and the girl who answered the phone.
