5-Star Review for Dr. Lauren Kalinowski & Team I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Lauren Kalinowski and her entire team. From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. Sally, the doctor's assistant, was amazing. She handled all of the initial testing and prep before I met with Dr. Kalinowski, and she made me feel comfortable and informed the entire time. Dr. Kalinowski herself was incredible thorough, patient, and truly attentive. She discovered things about my eye health that no other doctor has ever caught, despite me going for annual exams every year. I'm from the Fredonia area, and with our insurance options being pretty limited, I've tried all the local providers but never felt fully satisfied. I decided to try the next town over, and I'm so glad I did. Jan helped me through the checkout process with kindness and efficiency, and Michael was fantastic in helping me choose and fit my glasses. The entire staff worked together seamlessly. The facility is beautiful, clean, and modern easily the nicest office I've visited. Overall, I finally feel like I've found an eye care team I trust. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Dr Campbell and staff at ECVA. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by a wonderful front office woman! Also, All of the staff I interacted with were very friendly and efficient. I barely sat down and was called back so quickly for my appointment. They run a very efficient business and the staff were great. When Dr Campbell came in to review my testing results, he introduced himself and went over everything thoroughly. He diagnosed my issue and referred me to a retina specialist. Overall, it was a very good first impression of Dr Campbell and his office.

I am writing to share my dissatisfaction with a recent eye exam at your office. While the appointment was scheduled as a routine eye exam, my primary goal was also to discuss ongoing difficulties with my vision--specifically the challenges I have using glasses and contact lenses consistently, which give me headaches, dizziness, continued difficulty seeing, and significantly impact my job. I was referred to your practice based on a friend's very positive experience with Michael Campbell, who reportedly helped address complex near- and far-sighted vision issues. Based on that recommendation, I was hopeful I would leave my appointment with options or next steps to address my concerns. Although Lauren Kalinowski was professional and the exam itself was basic and fine, I left feeling disappointed and dismissed. I was told I am not a candidate for LASIK, but no explanation was provided as to why. I was briefly told I could see another provider (Atwall, I believe), but I do not recall the name clearly and was not given any written information or referral. Overall, I felt the appointment was rushed and that my concerns were not meaningfully addressed. The non-verbal communication throughout the visit further contributed to my feeling that the goal was simply to complete the appointment rather than explore solutions. I was hoping to leave with a clearer understanding of my options or at least a plan moving forward. Instead, I felt as though I was being told that this is simply something I "need to live with". Unfortunately, due to this experience, I will not be returning as a patient. I wanted to provide this feedback so you are aware of how this experience felt from a patient's perspective.

I had a good experience with most of the staff here so I included a review with 2 stars despite the most recent experience with Natasha (or faith, one of the two we'll call her Natasha for now) This employee claimed to be a manager and refused to provide service multiple times. The first time I called and asked for new glasses. She failed to fill that request. I also asked if i could get an emergency pair of contacts while I waited for glasses. She said she'd have a manager call me back about the contacts so it was clear Natasha was NOT a manager. The second time she was pretty sassy on the phone lol and refused to acknowledge she had misunderstood me, or try and make things right. The third time I called to ask where my order was from an alternate employee because I had been VERY clear this time and too much time had passed since my request. Natasha intercepted the request. She claimed she had failed to fill the order again, ON PURPOSE because she didn't like me. Legit. I called my insurance company and they never received any notification of cancellation. So, she probably just forgot again. I plan to call them back AGAIN because this shouldn't happen to anybody and it's been such a waste of my time. My vision is ok and I have been able to find a ride at night but this is a potentially very dangerous and expensive situation Natasha has created.

I have always been fearful of going to the eye doctor and ECVA makes it easy! The staff is friendly and understanding as well as patient with me while in the chair due to the fear of people getting in my face and putting drops in my eyes. I would recommend everyone to become patients here! Lauren Kalinowski was also great! Before officially putting info into the computer she did her own assessment or if something seemed questionable, she addressed and assessed it herself. She was very friendly and explained things to me as we went along to help me feel more comfortable!

I used to have Dr. Dusse as my doctor before I switched to an office in Elma because it's much closer to where I live. Dr. Dusse was always very informative and a fantastic eye surgeon. I once had another eye doctor here for 1 annual appt and he was also incredibly knowledgeable and kind. The ophthalmologists here are incredibly professional

Dr Cambell is an amazing doctor. He picked up something my primary dr didnt even pick up on. The office called a specialist to try and get me in sooner. He's super knowledgeable and takes times for questions. Love him!

I truly love this practice. Every staff member is friendly and professional. Dr. Kalinowski was the best. As a diabetic, having top quality eye health care is important. I am confident in the work of everyone at ECVA and not only trust them, but feel comfortable in their care. It doesn't get any better than ECVA.
