Spinak Medical Eye Center

I was very fortunate to find the Spinak eye center and particularly Dr. Chang and his office manager Nicole. Thanks to Dr. Chang I was finally properly diagnosed after seeing several doctors. My insurance company initially denied my prescribed eye drops. Thanks to Nicole's persistent, consistent efforts, the insurance company finally accepted my appeal. Nicole was always accessible to my phone calls and answered all qustions kindly and professionally. A huge thank you to all for a job well done.

I have been a loyal patient for many years. The Medical assistants and Physicians have always treated me like family. Never rushed during visits. Very thorough. I highly recommend this practice to all.

I have been going to Spinak Eye Center for many years. Dr. Chang is excellent, and takes time to explain eye conditions and treatment plans. The entire staff is very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend them!

I have been going to Dr Spinak Institute since Dr Andrews' mother and father were there, that's how long I have been a patient there and they have always done right by me, never had a problem up to now. There is the scheduling girl by the name of Nicole who dosen't know how to treat patients there, especially the seniors. It seems she could care less about us. I need cataract surgery as per Dr Spinak and yes my vision is not great. I called to make an appointment and it appears I need two dates. One date dosen't fit into my schedule but unfortunately after all these years of going to Dr Spinak, I now have to find another opthamologist because this employee who sounds like she is the boss there will not work with me. I told her I will have to go somewhere else and she told me "ok" that was it. The service there has changed. It seems Dr Andrew Spinak has no authority, this Nicole person runs the office, how sad. I asked Nicole to have Dr Spinak call me, she wanted to know what for. She never gave him my message. I don't recommend this doctor anymore as he is just letting an employee there make all the decisions. I am very disappointed with the service I recieved after being a loyal patient for so many years. I will not refer anyone there. How sad!

Everyone was very kind and very knowledgeable. Dr Chang. Was wonderful. He always took great care and was very personable.

Dr. Spinak is very thorough and takes a lot of time with each patient to ensure that I and my family receive quality eye care. The staff is extremely professional and courteous. My family has been going to this practice for many years without any issues.

My husband went in for a check up like he has been doing for years with Dr. Spinak. Doctor says he needs cataract surgery. He says OK but I also need glasses. I can't have the surgery until after the new year. My distance is getting a little worse, but other than that, I see fine the Dr. Maid glasses my husband can't even see through them. They said that's because you need cataracts. They will not give my husband his money back. They will not make glasses that he could see from My husband works very very hard and $500 is a lot of money for the doctor to keep and not even correct glasses that he could see from. He didn't say he wasn't gonna have the cataract surgery. He just can't do it right now and he see's fine. we have been coming here for years. I cannot understand how Dr. Spinak can do this if he can't correct his glasses give us a $500 back. I just can't believe this. I have multiple sclerosis and my husband works so hard to take care of me for him to keep $500 and he's probably so wealthy is just beyond me. you're thinking about going to this eye doctor think twice don't go to him he has changed. He wasn't like this eight years ago. how greedy can you get for $500?

Horrible experience with the staff, I heard them gossiping about me to each other while I was waiting. They mocked me at the front desk when I asked about why I had to pay a large amount when my insurance is in network and I have a $0 deductible. Waited over an hour for the Dr to come and when he finally did he saw me for 5 minutes and brushed off most of my questions.
