The entire facility was very clean. The receptionist was polite and efficient. The wait time was minimal. The technician was knowledgeable, courteous, and made me feel comfortable. Dr Kern, entered the room with a smile, Introduced herself, then examined my eyes. She asked me if I had any questions or concerns and addressed each one of them.

I recently had an episode that caused me to have a lot of eye pain. I called the office and told the person who answered the phone the problem that I was having. She told me to be there in about 40 minutes and they would squeeze me in. Once I got there I only waited for few minutes before my regular doctor called me back and immediately gave me an exam. Their service was impeccable, and everyone was very friendly. It was truly a 5 star experience.

At Ramapo Ophthalmology Associates (9/24/25): Cannot comment on the operational or technical expertise but, from my perspective, overall a bit too impersonal for a healthcare operation. Seemed to go from one cubicle to another, looking into one instrument or another, with no explantion as to what was being done or why. Many people probably don't care, but since it's my eyes are being evaluated, I do! Big question, why no name tags on the tech(s), or was I missing something? At the end, Dr. Kern, herself, was pleasant and informative.
