Richmond Hill Family Vision

They were recommended to me by my insurance, VSP, and I am very happy with everything. The attention by the Ophthalmologist as well as at the front was exceptional. They were all very kind and patient with me and my 2 Autistic sons for our first time. When making the Eyewear selection, they showed me very reasonably priced glasses as well as brand names. They also went over the list of exactly what my insurance covered with me and that kind of transparency is very much appreciated. Thank you!

Doctor is nice but the place itself is outdated and filthy. The machines to do pre testing were greasy and had someones lip gloss on it. Theyre supposed to clean each one after each patient.Everything just didnt look clean and alot of clutter everywhere . These are our eyes i need a clean place for a location meant to take care of our vision.

Shantel is an outstanding salesperson who genuinely takes the time to find the perfect frame for you. Overall, the experience is excellent. But I do recommend that they should renovate the place. The furniture does look old. The chairs are peeling. I think it would boost their sales more to invest into the design of the place

I always come to Richmond Hill Family Vision for my annual check-up, and the service is consistently amazing! The staff is attentive and efficient, making the eye exam process smooth and comfortable. They also have a great selection of frames, and the team is helpful when it comes to choosing the right pair. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, I had a very upsetting experience with the doctor during our recent visit. My child was already nervous about being at the clinic, and to make matters worse, the doctor was noticeably impatient and disrespectful--especially considering the language barrier we were facing. Instead of trying to communicate calmly or with understanding, the doctor seemed frustrated and dismissive, which only made my child feel more anxious and uncomfortable. Thankfully, the front desk staff were the only bright spot. The ladies at reception were kind, patient, and did their best to help us by translating and making the situation less stressful. Their professionalism and empathy stood out in contrast to the doctor's behavior. I expected a higher standard of care and compassion, especially when working with children and families who may not speak English fluently. We will not be returning to this doctor again.
