The reason I chose MLC was because of the SMILE procedure. Dr. Buchsbaum was kind and friendly. He answered any questions I had, no matter how minor I thought it would be, and reassured me that I was a perfect candidate. It also helped calm my nerves that the rest of the team was also hospitable throughout the procedure and consultation.
This is only the day after the surgery so my eyes are still a little sensitive to the light, but I could see right when I woke up! I am excited for the recovery and how my vision will only improve from here on out.

My husband and I both had the SMILE LASIK eye surgery on the same day and it's been truly a blessing. Manhatten Lasik Center Roslyn staff and doctors are amazing. They definitely made us feel comfortable and answered the many questions we had about the procedure. They're very thorough and triple/ quadruple check everything to make sure no errors were made. Dr. Buchsbaum was very knowledgeable, kind and talked me through the procedure while it was being done. At our two week check up I had 20/20 Vision and my husband 20/15. Highly recommend and worth every penny that was spent.

Hiccup with a postop check up where I was sent to a location that was closed and no one responded to my calls. Had to leave a negative review to get someone to reach out to reschedule.

Just got the smile procedure 2 weeks ago. It was super quick, I had the consultation and surgery on the same day, the doctor examined my eyes to see if I'm a good candidate, then did the procedure, the total time was around 2 hours for everything, the surgery itself was very quick and painless but you feel some slight discomfort on the day of the surgery, but if you rest then your good.
The first day you have to rest your eyes so that means no watching tv or anything like that, just rest your eyes and once you wake up after sleeping your eyes feel almost 100%, you can do pretty much any activity the day after.
My vision is now 20/20, and everything went well thank God. If anyone wants to get lasik and isn't doing it because your worried about the risk, then research the smile procedure!

Staff are very professional. Every step was explained thoroughly. For the Laser Surgery ( SMILE) it was painless. It was about a total of 2 mins per eye and i was still able to see afterwards. I went for my Post op visit 2 weeks later and i am able to see 20/15 which is exceptional. I would recommend manhattan lasik to everyone who is looking to laser surgery for their vision.
