Dr. Basilice is an exceptional ophthalmologist and expert in his field who is also remarkably kind and compassionate. I recently had successful laser cataract removal and lens implantation surgery. I was genuinely impressed when the doctor personally called me that same evening to see how I was recovering. This dedication to patient care is truly a standout quality.

I have been a very happy and satisfied patient of Dr. Basilice for over 20 years. He, his colleagues and staff are all top notch professionals. I wore glasses during my entire adult life and about 6 months ago had cataract surgery in both eyes. I chose the Vivity IOL replacement and could not be happier. This is going to be a long review but this was life changing. I have worn glasses my entire life. I have a stigmatism and amblyopia. I have never been able to see without glasses or contacts. I have been wearing glasses since I was 3years old and contacts since I was 9years old. I've had wonderful eye doctors and ophthalmologist over my life that made it possible to have corrected vision through glasses and contact but as I got older, the more difficult it became. Contacts were doing damage to my eyes. I was unable to wear them frequently and my vision with my glasses just wasn't the same. I was hospitalized for severe dry eyes and my eyes became a weakness point for any illness - shingles, cellulitis and dermatitis. I was turned down for Lasik and other options. It was not until Dr Basilice told me that he could replace my cataract lens with a multifocal lens that I had hope. Most people would never consider someone who is 35 years old to undergo cataract surgery but as Dr Basilice told me "this was not your grandmother's cataracts." I just underwent my eye surgeries in March and I can see. I can see when I open my eyes in the morning. I can see when I'm driving at night without glare. And I can see when I'm watching TV at night without having to worry about falling asleep with my glasses on. When I was in high school I accidentally fell asleep with my contacts in my eyes - I never did that. So when I woke up in the morning, for a split second, I thought there was a miracle and I could see. I quickly realized my contacts were in my eyes and then I thought about how I would never know what it was like to wake up and just see. But today, Dr Basilice along with Dr Schaffer, who helped design my custom lens, and his surgical team, I truly have my miracle for the rest of my life.

Love Dr Basilice! I met him a while ago. He was the only one that could have found that I had exophoria. And it was measurable too! He recommended pencil pushups. I did those and a few other eye exercises from my neurologist (the issue was affecting my balance). When I went back to him for a follow up, he was able to measure it and saw that it got better. The problem was resolved in 3 months after the vision and balance therapy. He's the best for your eyes!

Best eye doctors ever. They have saved my sight on numerous occasions. All of the doctors are fantastic. Vincent Basilice is a world class surgeon and eye doctor. The staff is fantastic too. My family and friends have all been very happy as well. Don't go anywhere else.

Excellent experience from arrival through my cataract procedure and discharge. Nurses were extremely informative, patient, and made me very comfortable. I had total confidence in Dr. Basilice and his bedside manner was reassuring. I would highly recommend this team for any vision needs.
