I've been going to the Sidney office since my eye doctor in Oneonta retired 15+ years ago and I've always had a pleasant experience. Recently I went to the Vestal office and had a good experience with my glasses but once it came to my contacts I was basically thrown into the back seat with no answer to where my trial pair might be and after 4 months I called the Sidney office and I was helped right away and a new trial pair was ordered for me and arrived sooner than expected. Lesson learned is to just stick with the Sidney office from now on! Very thankful for all the staff that assisted me!

My autistic son went here for a routine eye exam because it is the closest place to Binghamton that accepts straight medicaid. They were very patient with him and able to understand my cues to switch their dialogue without me having to explain each time what would help him cooperate better. My only complaint is that he was very upset because of the standard tests (the puff of air and the super bright flash) and was unable to cooperate with the actual exam. They should have offered less invasive tests from the start that aren't considered painful by many autistics so that he didn't stop feeling safe before seeing the Dr for the actual exam.

Went yesterday after making appointment for issues with my eye and I was due for my annual check up a few months ago. Had been there last year. When I made my appointment she had someone call me back after talking to someone? Never did she say that I would be first charged with my health insurance ? that would be billed first then my Medicare? So after driving 30 minutes was told this. Left very disappointed with conversations with Jessica and her input. Not the most welcoming nor accommodating office. Will not be back.

When something is wrong with your eyes it can be a scary time, I don't think anyone on earth can disagree with that. I seem to have more eye problems than anyone in the Southern Tier, and thank goodness for the team and Roberts Eyecare in SIDNEY!
After my golf trip in Gettysburg I thought I had something in my eye, a coworker noticed my eye looked awful 3 days later and I quickly called up the team at Robert's in Sidney. The team there promptly answered the phone as they always do, and in less than a minute they were able to squeeze me in for an emergency appointment. The doctor proceeded to pull out "the biggest thing he's ever pulled out of an eye", a seed pod stuck under the membrane of the eye. He said if I didn't get there that day I would have lost my eye (just joking about that part).
Sidney is a small town, I would say Robert's Eyecare in Sidney is a top 1 or 2 business in town, I only hope someday for our children and our children's children that the Vestal location can learn a thing or two from the FIVE STAR TEAM in Sidney!

Wasn't a horrible experience 7 years ago, just a little geographically undesirable. No contact with the office in SEVEN YEARS and NOW you're texting me appointments? What about a reminder call at the 2 year mark that it's time for a new exam? Yeah, I don't think so, not sure what kind of office you're running, but we won't be back.

Glad my daughter told me to go to Sidney instead of other location (which I had appointment at other location). Took me right in for testing and no wait for Doctor to come in for examination. I had the pleasure of meeting Mary who was so helpful in helping me find the right glasses for me. She went above and beyond in every step explaining different things. The glasses came in sooner and I picked up and again I had the help of Mary. She should be commended on her outstanding Customer Service. Thanks again Mary and Roberts Eyecare of Sidney NY.
