I continually feel I receive the best care for my eyes at this office. The people are wonderful and the doctors are so intelligent.

It's scary going to an eye specialist for sudden issues out of the blue. The staff at Retina Consultants are absolutely incredible! Hospitable, intelligent, funny, and compassionate. I was blown away! Still trying to figure out what's going on, but I felt comfortable there right away. If I could give this practice more than 5 stars, I would. Much gratitude to their team.

Their laser machine broke months ago and they called to let me know the machine was down and that they would follow up to reschedule me when it was fixed. About 2 months later I called to see if it was fixed and it was. When I asked why no one called to reschedule me the receptionist was very rude and inconsiderate. She gave me no choices as to when my next appointment would be and let me know that the doctor I had been working with is now leaving in 2 weeks! Aside from terrible receptionists, my vision has gotten worse as I now have blotchiness in the eye they did the laser treatment on. save your time, money, and frustration - GO ELSEWHERE!!

I highly recommend Retina Consultants (Slingerlands). I had an emergency eye issue and fortunately was able to get an appointment on the same day. The office was packed and people kept coming in for appointments. Each staff member that I encountered was pleasant, professional and very friendly. You would never know they were so busy, it is organized chaos and they do not miss a beat! I was extremely impressed with Dr. Bhatnagar, he was one doctor on and still made it a point to read my chart prior to seeing me. He was so personable we could have talked with him for a half hour. You would never know he was back to back appointments. It is a long wait because they put emergency cases in, be prepared. But it is worth the care you will receive. Bring a book, be nice and it will go by quickly. Thank you to all of the staff and Dr. Bhatnagar!

Never have a been to a medical office that operates more efficiently. There's a great flow process they've created. It seems you wait no more than 10 minutes in between steps. The office staff is so friendly and accommodating. Would highly rrecommend them to anyone needing their level of eye care. .

Updated review: Was a 5 star, now a 1. The billing department, specifically Alex is a total disaster. They applied my payment to someone else's account. I jumped through hoops leaving messages, sending copies of the check they cashed. No one calls you back or even cares because it isn't their money. If you do have to go here, keep detailed receipts and record conversations! The place is also a dump and you get packed in like sardines for about 3-4 hours before you see a doctor. Avoid at all costs!
