Ocutique

After having a horrible experience with Visionworks I decided to try Ocutique, mainly because they are about the only other optical center in Syracuse that accepts Fidelis insurance. I am very happy with my new glasses! The ladies there are great to work with, very friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely highly recommend Ocutique

I've been going to Ocutique for probably a decade and have always received excellent costumer service and fair prices. Its fun to shop for glasses and the employees seem to enjoy it as much as I do. They're always very attentive and helpful and great with follow up. Have gone back for adjustments, etc and always received great service. Highly recommend.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. First, they told me one price and then charged my card for an entirely different price. when I brought it to their attention, they basically told me that they processed my order incorrectly and that it would cost them more to fix the problem than to just give me the glasses that way. They end up calling me back to say that they cannot refund me until I bring the glasses back (I never wanted to take them to begin with, butt THEY insisted that I did). I think the back and forth they had me doing was extremely inconvenient and they weren't apologetic about it at all. It's completely unethical to charge a person more than you tell them you will. BEWARE!! Do not go to this shop. The Eye Center part is also terrible. When I got there, they took my insurance information and then sent me a bill in the mail. When I asked why they didn't collect the money at the time of my appointment, one of the ladies explained that she wasn't there the day of my appointment and perhaps the other front desk person didn't know to take the copay, WHAT? I hate inconsistent business such as this.
