The entire staff were friendly and accommodating. Dr. Taylor was very knowledgeable about my retina condition, explained it to me well, listened to my concerns. She explained the process of the eye injections so I knew what to expect. It was mildly uncomfortable but not as bad as I had imagined.I left feeling confident with the care I received.

Seen Dr. Liegel. Drove 1.5 hours to this office and was there 15 minutes for an exam for my daughter. Felt super rushed. Was kind of rude and dismissive when I brought forth my concerns to her. Did not make eye contact with me or my husband when speaking with us. Literally was rushing through the eye exam as I was trying to talk to her. Will not be back. Unimpressed.

Terrible experience. Dr. Liegel was so dismissive, and basically accused my daughter of lying about her issues. She rudely said in front of my daughter, "your daughter doesn't need glasses. I tricked her into thinking she had prescription lenses on and there was no prescription. She can see fine and doesn't need the glasses you have". For her to proudly say that to me in front of my daughter was so unprofessional and quite disturbing. She really didn't prove anything. She didn't ask my daughter if she could see better, she merely pointed at letters and numbers and asked my daughter what she was pointing at. My daughter had to squint to see. Dr. Liegel should know that you can make a pretty decent educated guess as to what a blurry letter or number looks like. I have terrible eyes so know this first hand. This woman should not be working with children. The only reason I went was because my child was still complaining about headaches and blurry vision when reading, and I figured a pediatric ophthalmologist would have the knowledge and compassion to work with children. I would have respected her comment had she pulled me aside to give her opinion, even though I disagree. My daughter really did not need to hear that comment from a doctor. There is no reason for my daughter lie about this. She is not getting special treatment and only wears her glasses when reading and trying to see close up. We have another prescription from a qualified doctor who says otherwise about my daughter's eyes.
