I don't usually leave reviews, but I really wanted to share this experience. I called because I urgently needed to see the doctor, and Sandy, who answered the phone, was incredibly kind and caring. She took her time to ask many questions so she could truly understand how I was feeling and how serious my eye condition is. I have a very sensitive eye disease, and not everyone understands how difficult it can be. Sandy listened patiently, showed real concern, and made sure I could come in to see the doctor. While I was feeling sad and tired because of my eyes, her kindness truly made my day. Thank you, Sandy, for caring so much and for being so kind over the phone. This is exactly the kind of care patients need.

I had an appt. today and thought I was having a laser treatment. When I heard that the doctor wasn't in today, I was told that my appt. today was for eye measurements, etc. Nobody explained that. When I got there the tech wasn't in yet so I had to wait. I finally was called in 15 minutes after my scheduled appt. I had to meet with the finance person also and I was told the treatment cost was out of pocket. The doctor told me that insurance will pay for it. So I have another appt. to talk to the doctor and pay for the treatment if I decide to have it done. Someone should have explained all of this prior to my appt. today.

As soon as I got to the office the girls at the front desk were very welcoming. The office was very clean. I had a short wait time. Sara and Angela were super friendly and knowledgeable. I went to see Dr. Fran for an eye exam he was very professional and talked with me about all of my eye concerns. He did a through examination and spent a lot of time with me and had a great bed side manner. I then went to see Mary in the optical and she helped me pick out the perfect glasses. She made sure they were exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend this office to anyone.

I have been going to Francis Eye for two years now and have had nothing but pleasant experiences. Sara and Angela in the back are awesome to deal with! The rest of the staff is courteous and professional, and the doctor was great. I switch from another practice where the doctor was good, but wasn't great with people. Dr. Fran is very easy to deal with, and has always answered all my questions. Everyone I dealt with there was great. As far as waiting goes, I have never waited an excessively long time, but things happen in doctor's offices that they cannot control at times. I have waited well over an hour at many offices past my appointment time. It happens.

Francis is a fantastic doctor and you can tell he actually cares about your. He treated me with patience and professionalism each and every step of the way while I received my eye surgeries back in December.

Don't waste your time, this place is a joke. I waited four months for a new patient appointment, only for them to leave me a voicemail stating they were moving my appointment to three days later at a random time they chose. I called and said I was unavailable that day, they told me the next available appointment then is in three months. I explained kindly I had already been waiting months to get on and they moved my appointment not me. Then the woman booked me for the following week. Which leads us to today, I go in to the office for my scheduled time and the woman tells me she doesn't know why I have an appointment, the doctor doesn't work on Wednesdays. All while having a chronic issue with my eye affecting everything.

I have been going here for a few years now and have had nothing but the best service from Dr. Fran and his staff. They go above and beyond to accommodate me. I found a pair of glasses on Amazon that I thought I might like, their staff member Sara pulled every pair of glasses she thought looked similar and had them ready for me to try on when I got there. I let them know with not much notice that I was going on vacation and would need contacts, they fit me in their schedule and got me a few pairs for my vacation. They have also given me multiple different kinds of contacts to try out to see which ones I liked best. I will never go anywhere else and recommend them to everyone I know.

I just love Dr. Mig. He has the best all female staff working for him. I've been coming here for years and I've never seen anyone in a bad mood. They make it a joyful atmosphere. I've relocated. I travel an hour one way to every appointment. I figure why should I change physicians when, I already have the best eye surgeon in Central New York. He's funny, warm, smart and did I say handsome.? Yes, he's that too.
