Long Island Vision Care - Dr. Schoenbart, Fisher, and Correale

We have been patient of Dr. Schoenbart since 1994 and continue to receive the same wonderful care since our first visit. He has a very warm and caring manner. His office staff is friendly. We've known Maryann for many years too and she is always welcoming. She leaves her desk in the office and helps us find the new glasses as she knows what we like. Michael was incredibly nice and helpful with choosing the right size frames that will fit our faces and lens best. They have a great variety of frames to choose from. I just hope that they will carry the WOOW frames again. Thank you to Dr. Schoenbart and his staff for making our vision care visits such a positive experience all these years. It's a visit our whole family looks forward too and get excited about.

The way a business treats its customers defines who it is and what it stands for. I have always had a great experience with the eye doctors and office staff for 15+ years. But I had a fantastic "5 star" experience with Michael Valenti thanks to his outstanding customer service last week (Jan 23, 2026). I came in with a pair of broken eyeglasses and wasn't sure there would be a solution, but Michael went above and beyond to help. He took the time to explore many different options, showed genuine care, and ultimately found a creative way to solve my problem with an affordable solution. It's rare to find this level of patience, professionalism, care and problem-solving. I truly appreciated the extra effort and left feeling valued as a patient. I also want to salute Gracie and Maryanne from the office staff - they set the tone as soon as I arrived and were super helpful and encouraging. Doctors may provide the treatment, but office and support staff deliver the experience! Highly recommend LI Vision Care and expect to be a loyal customer for years to come!

Dr. Schoenbart is amazing. He listens to all of my concerns and takes his time with his patients. Mike is absolutely great with helping you find the right frames and is very informative about what will fit your needs best. As always it was great to see Maryanne, she always greets my family and I when we arrive. She has great fashion taste and helped me find the frames that I love. She makes the office feel welcoming.

Excellent care by Dr Fisher who prescribed the prism lenses that enable me to drive with the best vision. The office staff are so professional and personable. Each one is a credit to LI Vision Care. A special shout out to Carol who went to great lengths to get me an appointment with Dr Fisher this week. I really appreciate her efforts. When I thanked her in person she humbly stated "just doing my job." Thank you again to all of you!

Dr. Schoenbart is a great optometrist who constantly provides outstanding care. He takes the time to thoroughly answer my questions and explains everything in a clear, understandable way. He is reassuring, patient and friendly, making every visit a positive experience!

Dr. Schoenbart, Pauline, and Michael were AMAZING! Wow! So blessed. Happy we came here. Everything was explained thoroughly, scheduling was made easy, and choosing the frames was so efficient. Thank you Dr Schoenbart for taking the time to explain how all of the co-mortifies can and are interrelated with the eye and how the stroke has impacted my husbands vision. I wish I could've given you 10 stars, but 5 was the highest they would allow me to give!

The front desk staff used to be friendly and welcoming. I feel sorry for the good doctors here, as the front desk with some girls joined the past 1-2 years is becoming a big minus to the overall experience. These new joiners at the reception desks have been extremely unpleasant. They display a very poor attitude--unwelcoming, impatient, uncaring, and unprofessional. Interactions with them have made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. Rather than receiving basic assistance, I felt I had to beg for their help such as just getting an appointment time. This is not the standard of service one should expect from a front-desk role. Appropriate training and oversight are needed from the management.

Both Mary Ann and Dr. Schoenbart were amazing and so helpful. They walked me through each exam and were very patient with me. I would definitely recommend coming to see Dr. Schoenbart and his lovely staff.
