Absolutely do not purchase anything here. They do not stand behind their products. I've worn glasses since the 3rd grade and never had an issue. My first purchase here were junk within 2 years. They said it was called "crazing" from the lenses getting too hot, I wear them all the time except when I sleep! I've never had this happen before and I would strongly recommend shopping somewhere else. The only thing good here is Dr Downing.

Been a patient for several years. I love my Dr. - he is terrific. But things just aren't the same. Since they got bought by MyEyeDr, the level of service has gone down. I got rushed through my appointment and rushed through my fitting. They didnt have the lenses I wanted . I had varilux XR and wanted the same . She LIED and told me they dont make them anymore so i would buy what the sell. I had a horrible experience - Extra lenses were in my case and when I asked if I had the right lenses she was super nasty about it. I got my glasses and the image felt "misaligned" like my eyese were crossed. I tried explaining this but the optometry manager was very nasty and told me to start again tomorrow after sleeping. So I did. I had a MASSIVE headache and was dizzy and nauseous for two days. I brought them back and (same) office manager was so rude (like *I* did something wrong). I love my eye doctor but I wont be back

I chose my frames in a hurry after my eye exam, and didn't like them once I got them. They have a 30 day exchange policy, so I went back and picked out frames I really love. I'm so grateful that they offer an exchange. Thomas was so helpful and kind, and helped me narrow my choices down to the perfect pair of glasses. Dr. Downey is great, too. Really happy with this office. Thanks so much!

Arrived at an appointment that was made a year ago to be told my appointment was canceled due to the Dr I have been seeing was no longer with the practice. I did not receive any documentation, phone call informing me of this change. I explained to the receptionist I have text messages and emails regarding my appointments. I'm very disappointed how the receptionist responded to the entire situation. Needless to say I was not seen and have no appointment scheduled. No apology what so ever given and a very nonchalant and dismissive attitude.

I took appt for contact lens wearing training for my teen for the 1st time. Doctor told me appt will be for 45mins to 1 hr similarly when I took the appt on the phone receptionist said the same. But when we went for 1st trial person who is helping (i donot have his name) told us it's for 20 mins and initially he gave some information and then kept telling us I have to go out and attend other customers . I am very disappointed with the service.Its difficult for teenagers to try lens 1st time. I was expecting training will be handled patiently. My teen was unable to use lens so we took another appt. Williamsville office is away from us so we told receptionist to change it to Lancaster. She told me we will transfer the lens and we will keep the same time appt at Lancaster office. I confirmed 2 times with the receptionist and she said donot worry we will take care of the appt. I donot know but the day of appt.i called Lancaster office they said there is no appt scheduled .we have the lenses.but no body confirmed the appt.So I schedule the appt. When I called Williamsville office and asked why the appt is not scheduled as told to me earlier? the receptionist was keep saying whatever I am saying is not true. I felt very disappointed and blamed for their mistake. If they record the calls for quality purposes they will find out both the conversation where 1st receptionist told me they will take care of scheduling appt with Lancaster office and 2nd receptionist non stop denying it and making me feel like I am lying. Very disappointed with over all contact lens training experience and receptionist.

Love the eye doctor I see here but the reception has always been lacking a quality experience. The receptionists that cash you out and make you your next appointment could definitely be a been more polite and address concerns better. I had to insist 3 times that I received the wrong rebate form before they even wanted to look at it to see that it wasn't right. Last year I received the wrong contacts in the mail because they didn't pay attention to what they were ordering and I had to go back to get more freebies while I waited for the correct order. Just unnecessary

I've seen a lot of negative reviews, but I've never experienced any issues here. Dr. Sender is great & always educates me about my eyes & takes the time to explain things thoroughly. The glasses seem a bit pricey but thankfully I have great insurance. My glasses were ready in 8 days too! (They emailed instead of sending a text so watch your email too!) No customer service issues that I've noticed over the years. I've been coming here for quite a while too.

Not even worth one star!! Numerous calls regarding where my glasses were only to finally have an appointment where the "optician" gave me one of the two pairs I had ordered and a sandwich baggie with the lenses of the second pair of glasses. The optician was asked where the frames were to which she replied you did not order frames to which I replied "am I suppose to hold the lenses up to my eyes". As she had no reply she excused herself and did not return. The optician who originally filled my order then came to the table to tell me they had no order for frames only lenses to which I replied lenses are cut to the frame specs so that is incorrect I ordered frames. Finally a "manager" came over once again this person told me I had not ordered frames I calmly (kept my composure the whole annoying episode) insisted that I did indeed order frames but to end this fiasco I asked for a refund. The manager told me that a refund could be requested and a check would be sent to my home in approximately 6 weeks despite having paid by debit card. I asked for a card reversal/return and was told they could not do that! After a discuss of why anyone would order only lenses and obviously my not accepting the ridiculous idea of baggy lenses the manager excused herself returning to the fitting table with frames stating "Ok this is what happened these are the frames you ordered but the order did not process correctly due to the insurance interface". Apparently simple quality control of matching order invoices to items received is not done. Anyway after being lied to, wasting my time with nonsense and the inability to process a real time refund the lenses were placed in the frames and I went on my way. My family canceled their upcoming appointments and we obviously do not do business with this company. This optical has many elderly patients it is unfortunately they might fall victim to this "group". Please note they knew but did not wish to accept responsibility for this mistake. Worse customer service EVER. This has been posted before but I like to keep it current as it is very telling. The Main St. in Williamsville branch.
