Preferred Optical of Jamaica Avenue | Eye Doctor

This was the first time getting my eyes checked out in many years and also my first time at this location and I was very impressed. The woman at the front counter was very nice and so were the technician(s) and specialists. They even took their time to explain my results and why they were the way that they were according to my images and data and even asked me if I had any questions. It certainly made me feel like I was a valued patient there and that my eye care really mattered. So with that being said, I would definitely return here. Even though I did not opt to choose frames here because I prefer buying mine at Costco, it is worth noting that they do have a wide selection. Also, for anyone wondering, as a brand new patient, the entire appointment lasted a bit less than 45 minutes which was great.

Preferred Optical is a wonderful place when you decide to get your vision check and get your new glasses. They welcome you as soon you walk in, Ms. Alba work at the front desk and she's a beautiful person. She was able to answer all my questions and concerns. The place is also clean. I definitely recommend this place. I personally will come back for future purchases. You won't regret it. I promise you. I give this place 10000 stars.

Preferred Optical really lives up to its name -- it's my go-to place! The staff is so friendly, kind, and patient. I went in for an eye exam, and they made the whole process super smooth and comfortable. They're always attentive and take the time to answer any questions. Great service every time -- definitely my preferred optical from now on :)

I just purchased my Gucci frames from Jamaica Optical. Alba and Angel at were amazing from the moment I walked in. Their machines are state of the art and I had a very thorough exam. My glasses were ready for pick up in 2 days and I was greeted by David who was very professional. This was overall the best experience I've had at an optometry! 10/10 recomend

Worst experience ever. I came here for my son's glasses and a pair for myself. For my son they messed up the order the first time with wrong frame and color. Then when I was waiting for both pairs I had to call the store to find out mine have been delivered and never been notified. As soon as I got my sons glasses he's a kid so again these glasses don't come with real cases for some reason and ends up breaking them a week later. I got replacements and again had to call them to see if they even arrived. Just came to the store and not only is it the wrong color and frame but wrong size too! The receptionist said she didn't know what to do about it and now I have to wait until Monday for a manager because a manager only comes in Mondays. I use to go to Metro Optics and decided to give this a try since it's closer to home. Never seen poor communication, poor customer service and poor satisfaction. Metro Optics would adjust and take their time to make sure it was the right pair and right fit. After this issue resolves I won't be returning here again.
