Greater Ny Ophthalmology Care

I recently visited Dr. Benjamin for my cataract on both eyes. I have no words to express my gratitude for the surgery and on both eyes. I see much better. The doctor and the staff are so friendly approachable. The information was so informative and very clear. I am also very much touched by the arrangement of transportation to the surgery center that is Apex Eye Surgery to and from both the times. Thank you so much

Insanely long wait. Horrible front desk. Looks at your insurance card and don't ask for the copay, just sends it in a bill later, since they are lazy and can't press a few buttons on a computer. So I paid the bill in person, and now, two months later, they sent me the same bill! I have the receipt cause I expected that from this office. I called billing and they said they did not send them the confirmation so I have to call them to ask them to send it. And of course, they did not answer the phone. What a surprise. This place is a joke. Be like me and keep your receipts if you go here :) cause they will try and scam you out of more money.

There should be an option for no stars because this office must be ran by the worst office manager possible. We came for an appointment at 8:40, it is now 11:27am and we are still here. The office is way over crowded, the patients are being bounced around from person to person within the office, hardly nowhere to sit & many people standing & standing outside. Seriously, doctor, if you're seeing this, charging as many insurances isn't everything, you must up hold an office where patients keep coming back to you. This is just ridiculous. The front desk Indian receptionist has by far the worst bedside manner when dealing with patients. This office really needs to do better. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! IT IS NOT THAT SERIOUS, YOU CAN FIND OFFICES WHICH KNOW HOW TO MANAGE APPOINTMENTS EFFICIENTLY!!

If you are prepared to wait for more than two hours to finally get your eye checked up then this is the right eye care center for you. The waiting area is very small and congested which is not ideal for elderly patients especially during COVID. The doctor and a Hispanic nurse were the only staffs who were helpful and seemed to care about their staff/patient care.

They have one doctor and more than 20plus patients waiting at once. The doctor doesn't wear face mask and also very rude. I waited more than 3 and half hrs to see him. When I asked questions, he barely answers and acts annoyed. The whole time trying to rush and basically kick you out. I was in there less than 5 mins

I been seeing Dr Mason over 20 years. He is great!! Takes good care of my eyes. The staff is very friendly.

Its good ... the front desk women she is well behaved and all other nurses included knows good manner and proper way to behave ... but *** it takes a very long time very long wait time **

This place deserves no rating. It takes very very long time to see the doctor. Very small place to seat. People wait standing at out side. I definitely switch this ophthalmologist anyway.
