Made so many appointments I can't count. The first appointment:
I got there early.
now after my appointment still not seen. Ask how long does this appt take they said 2 hours.. I had to leave .. second appt I arrive early sat for 45 minutes watching others go in. Finally asked the client what time their appt was. It was a half hour after mine.... So i once again ask. What's the hold up. Basically..
We are really behind.. in my head again.
it's 10 am you opened two hours ago. How and why are you 45/min to an hour behind?
I said I'll let you catch up...
But I'm not rescheduling..

You can count on them coming through. I wanted to say a big thank you to Sunny the optical manager who resolved my issue. She was kind and professional. Dr. Holden and the whole team at Western Carolina Eye Associates treated my son and me professionally, compassionately and efficiently. We were visiting Boone when my son suffered an accident that sent us to the emergency department who referred us here for a follow up. From the moment we walked in the door and throughout our visit we were well cared for. The team helped us feel comfortable during a scary situation. They took the time to answer our questions patiently and thoroughly. I am grateful to the whole team for their excellent care!

I'm sorry. I have been a patient for I believe 3 years. I switched to them from the other major eye care provider in the area because I felt they had become too big and no customer service. Unfortunately, WCEA has become the same chop shop organization. The appointments girl is about as caring as a brick wall. It takes 4 months to get an appointment. Really....for eyes? I can get into any medical facility faster. I called a local doctor today and got a 2 day appointment. I'm done with these guys.

I'm so pleased with WCEA! I've been a patient for 3.5 years and Dr. Copenhaver takes great care of my eye care. It took several visits to get the proper contacts (my eyes are wonky) and she and the staff were so patient with me! The optical shop has also worked with me on glasses and are wonderful to work with.

This is the worst office I have ever been to. First they canceled my appointment without telling me and I drove 45 minutes just to get turned away. Then they rescheduled and when I showed up i waited for 45 minutes and had to complain to be seen. Then it took them 2 hours and 45 minutes to administer 3 test. I'm sure it will be 2025 before I even get my glasses. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

I would give zero stars if I could.
I did like coming to this office, but since the beginning of the year, this office has been a joke. My husband and I ordered glasses at the same time and have nothing but problems. Besides the cost of both pair being astronomical, we have had issue after issue and no resolution. Not to mention that they won't tell you that they won't help you, you have to make an appointment to come in for them to tell you that and waste more of your time!
I'm done with this office!.
