Burgaw Eye Center

RUDE. Rushed out right around closing time NO service when I had an APPT after driving 45 mins there on a work day. NO reception in the office or road. Receptionist was demanding as soon as literally walked in the door made me uncomfortable and like she just wanted to leave and forget me. Called a few times in 2 days, no answer or returned voicemail. Finally day of appt someone picked up the phone.

Very nice and pleasant. I found my new eye doctor.

It was a wonderful experience! I have visited this place with my three children and they all received excellent service and care. We have never faced any communication issues, and if the receptionist is unavailable, she always returns my calls. The eyeglasses were of exceptional quality. I will definitely return and highly recommend this place!

They cannot answer questions over the phone. They cannot help you over the telephone when you ask about another eye doctor practition they will tell you they don't know of any around this area which is sad and they were no help to me. So I give them no stars because if you are a doctor of any sore, you should be interested in helping a patient seek help..... And I am in need of seeing a eye doctor because a regular doctor cannot help with us other than four pink eye or surgical matter etc and I was just told that she didn't know of any other eye doctors in the local area and that she cannot answer any of my questions over the telephone. So zero help zero Stars oh excuse me I have to give one star in order to post this. Sad as well

I went to Dr. Eaton's office for 4-5years. He is a wonderful Doctor who takes the time to explain things in depth, make sure your glasses fit perfectly and he truly seems to care about his patients. His office manager is great as well. She makes sure all info is put in correctly and helps you understand what is and isn't covered. I recommend this office to anyone looking for a new optometrist.

I originally thought this was a great place where you walk in and see the dr durning the whole apt. I had my eye exam done in Oct. and didn't order my glasses until Jan. This was done so that I could make sure this exam went thru my insurance company. In Jan. I came in and order a pair of glasses and paid for them in full $380.00 and was told they would be in with in a week. A week go's by and Dr. Eatons office calls me to let me know they are in but my insurance rejected the exam claim, and that I could not pick up my glasses until exam was paid for in full. When I asked for them to just bill me for it they said that would not be a problem but I still would not be able to pick up the glasses (that are already paid for) up until the bill (that now is 3 days old) was paid. I asked to speak to the Dr. About this matter and was told he would call me back, well that has been over a week ago. I understand this bill is my responsibility and I will pay it but if they would had filed the claim with my insurance company in a timely fashion I would not have paid so much money for glasses that I now can't use because I don't have any extra money at this time. Part of being a good Dr. Office is not only giving great care to your patients when they are in your office but also doing timely follow ups on phone calls and insurance claims after they leave your office. Update: Dr. Eaton has contacted me and we worked everything out. If your looking for a small town Dr, who takes the time to explain everything to you and is easy to talk to then this is the place for you. I was seen on my apt time (no waiting) and when I picked up my glasses Dr. Eaton took the time to make sure they fit and went over everything with me, again with no waiting.

I went to Burgaw Eye center and had my Yearly check for the second year in a row. The receptionist/ office manager was extremely nice and The exam was a breeze. There was a minor problem with the billing and when I called to check on it I found out it had already been corrected. (not their fault but my Insurance company's). I will be back next year and look forward to it.

Great exam. Doc took time to explain things. Didn't feel rushed at all. Great fitting contact lenses. Highly recommend Dr. Eaton and his practice.
