My experience initially did not start off well. I arrived on time for my 5:00 p.m. appointment and left at 7:00 p.m. without ever being seen by a doctor. I was livid, upset, and aggravated--and I clearly voiced my concerns. As an educator, I intentionally took off work to schedule a Friday afternoon appointment because I value my Saturday mornings with my family. That said, Assistant Manager Garceila was absolutely amazing. She listened to every concern I had without interrupting and maintained the calmest, most professional demeanor throughout the entire interaction. She even contacted her district manager to personally relay my complaint. I am happy to say that although I had to return on Saturday morning, everything Garceila promised was delivered. I was graciously compensated and, as assured, I was the first patient to see the doctor. Surprisingly, I actually enjoyed returning on Saturday because I had uninterrupted time to select the glasses I truly liked. I am genuinely grateful. Because of how Garceila handled a very frustrating situation, I will gladly share how she turned lemons into lemonade for me. Thank you, America's Best--and an even bigger thank you to Assistant Manager, Garceila for outstanding customer service and amazing leadership! I will forever remain a customer!

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. What was supposed to be a one-hour eye exam turned into nearly two and a half hours. There was little to no communication about the delay, and no one at the front desk acknowledged the wait or showed any concern. Unfortunately, the reception staff came across as unfriendly and uninterested. No one greeted me or made me feel welcome. The overall atmosphere felt tense and disorganized. A few days later, I called back to check on my insurance, and the receptionist I spoke with was short and rude on the phone. It felt like I was inconveniencing them just by asking a simple question. I understand that places can get busy, but professionalism and basic courtesy go a long way. I would recommend considering another location where the staff is more pleasant and attentive to patients.

I had an appointment. I get a phone call Wednesday at 10:40am (a day before thanksgiving)to confirm my appointment for Saturday. I was not able to pick up at that time because I was at work. On the voicemail American best employee left a message telling me if didn't respond by 2:30 that same day they will cancel my appointment. The lady that left the voicemail could definitely be a more professional. My schedule with work was already difficult for me to schedule the appointment I made. Given someone 4 hours to call back and confirm an appointment that's three days away is not enough time for me when I get off at 5:00.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the manager at the front desk. I'd disclose her name had she had given it, or even acknowledged us. She was not only rude and unprofessional but also seemed to have no regard for customer service. Her tone was condescending, and she was dismissive when I asked for assistance. It's clear that she lacks basic manners and training in how to interact respectfully with customers. A negative experience that I hope gets addressed. Definitely not the level of service I expected. We ordered ray bans and the store incorrectly charged my insurance and gave us a cheaper frame for our son. When we attempted to talk to the manager about this she literally turned her back to us and tried to act like we weren't there. She continued this until the front desk woman tried to help us and only then did the manager step in only to stop her employee from engaging and it was incredibly rude to all involved. I doubt I have to say we will never come back and I'm ashamed this company got our money.

My son and I went to pick up our glasses. While there, I inquired about having new lenses with the new prescription put in my Pair Eyewear glasses that I purchased at a different America's Best location last year. The lady at the front desk was very helpful, but anytime she asked the manager whose name starts with a C (I know her name, but will not put it out there) a question she was very snappy and very rude. There is a way to talk to people without being hateful and rude. She even made the comment that I should probably come back one day during the day when they aren't so busy. Well, I live 40 minutes away and that doesn't work for me. I waited for a little bit and after witnessing her interaction with other customers, I got frustrated and asked for my new prescription that I plan to take elsewhere. I'd love to take my business to a place where the workers are friendly and helpful, not unfriendly and hateful and where customers are valued. The manager is very unprofessional and my family will not be back.

I had an awesome experience at America's best at the Concord location with Associates Jay, Vivian, Bryanna, Tanya.Also, Vivian helped me step out of my comfort zone a bit and I chose the cutest frames those far. Thank you Ladies...

Fire Cathy. She is rude, unprofessional, I care to her employees, snaps at customers unhelpful, and is the reason customers don't like coming back to this location. I've witnessed it... she's stopped a young lady (I believe her name is Bree? I'm not totally sure) that works there from making a sale that was over $500. The young lady was doing just fine until Cathy come over and gave her "two sense". I watched that customer walk out without paying a dime of anything. Great job Cathy... you're the reason the store is losing money... She needs to be FIRED! I wouldn't have an issue at all if it wasn't for Cathy... #FireCathy

Nice ppl but I gave them my Cigna/Eyemed insurance and then they told me they don't take that after the exam and charged $119 for something that would be covered.
