Dr. Jason P. Handler, MD

The staff and the doctor were very abrupt and not very friendly. The most embarrassing and humiliating thing that I've ever experienced in a doctor's office was when Dr. handler asked me to put my chin in the holder and my head on the strap. For some reason "the strap "did not compute in my brain, and when I questioned him on it, he grabbed the back of my head and shoved it into the strap on my forehead. I was extremely embarrassed and felt like he had crossed the line. When I told him I ordered my glasses online, he was very judgmental and said he didn't have a good opinion of online ordering and when I said, I could not afford the glasses that they had in their office, he replied curtly with "just know that if you get them somewhere else, I can't help you with anything that goes wrong with them. " He was rude and his tone was very judgmental. When I went to make a follow up appt for the following year, I was told he was handing me off to a different doctor because I did not need to see him, that I did not have specific medical problems that he normally deals with. The nurse said it was because he was an MD, and I said I needed an MD because I was diabetic and that's specifically why I came to their office. She said, "well the other doctor is also an MD but in a different way. " None of it made sense to me, and after what Dr. Handler did by grabbing my head like that, I will be going back to Precision Eye Center. This has not been my first negative experience at their eye clinic, but I was willing to go back because of my diabetes and I felt I needed an actual MD to look at my eyes. It will definitely be my last visit there though.

Love Dr Handler Some ( not all) of the assistants need to be more personable . They need to wear gloves when touching patients faces I didn't like that part . The lady that did my initial evaluation was ice cold no personality, but she did her job I guess. But Dr Handler is incredibly great

Dr Handler and all staff were wonderful. He thoroughly explained the cataract surgery procedure answering my many questions and easing my concerns. He is a compassionate healthcare provider and if asked I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Dr. Handler did an excellent surgery on my eyes. He's extremely talented. Has great patient communication. I would highly recommend him for any vision correction surgery. I'm extremely pleased with my outcome.

Dr. Handler has a warm personality. He's open to answering questions . I feel confident with him doing my cataract surgery coming soon.

I have been going to Dr. Handler for a number of years and he is a very knowledgeable person. He listens to my concerns and proceeds with ways to help me. I trust him!
