I have be going here for over 20 years. It used to be a great office. Last time I came in for an appointment, the receptionist literally did not look up from her computer, just shove a clipboard at me, and said fill it out. Got pulled by a nurse who acted like the last thing she wanted to be doing was checking eyes. I got to the doctor was was nice. I got contacts and a new pair of glasses. A few months later, the whole hinge pulled out of the glasses and I needed to get them repaired. I had the warranty so I brought them in and asked if the ear pieces could be adjusted. Gentlemen told me they don't do that anymore, he took the glasses and told me they'll call when ready. I went to pick them up and they had no lens. So after some searching they found the lens. And I asked about adjusting the ear pieces and was told again they don't do that. I made the next years appointment and was called the afternoon of my appointment to tell me it was cancelled. I told them I had taken the day off but they wouldn't reschedule me until 2 weeks. That was the last straw. I will go to an office that tries to value their patients. The quality of service and knowledge of staff has gone downhill. They used to do adjustments in office. I'll go to Warby Parker or my new doctor who offers lifetime adjustments

Absolutely awful. This has been my go to eye doctor's office for 29 years. Once Dr. Ferris left, Dr. Bailey became my doctor and he was wonderful. Recently, I had an appointment scheduled and waited over an hour and they said they were using some new system and were backed up. I had to leave so I rescheduled with him and then on the day of that appointment they called to cancel stating the doctor had to leave early. Come to find out Dr. Bailey is no longer with them so I took an appointment with Dr. Meta. Dr. Meta has zero personality and is hard to understand when she actually does speak. She explains nothing. When I was checking out, she charged me for 2 things I didn't need and when the front office told her I was a cash patient she made the comment she "thought I had insurance". So, I guess it's acceptable to charge for things not done if we have insurance? She tried to charge me an astronomical contact lens fitting fee, when normally they are around $75. I have been in contacts since I was 13 and I'm 53. Instead of around a $200 bill, it was closer to $350 until I said absolutely not. The front desk took the extra charges off. I will be finding Dr. Bailey and if he is no longer in the Concord area, I am switching eye doctors offices. Unfortunately, this place has gone down hill. Also, my kids go here and they will be leaving as well.

Awful experience. When I needed help over the phone, they refused to help and instead redirected my son helping me to a website, despite my verifying and authorizing him to help. They then called my phone back and hung up on him. I do not appreciate the lack of consideration or assistance.

It's a okay place it's not too bad I just feel customer service isn't top tier it needs to be worked on but the ladies however that worked in the area where you try on the glasses those two ladies were the best highlight of my visit they were friendly they paid attention very attentive and very kind I was kind of uncomfortable because it was my first visit but they made my visit great so I would like to thank them.... But I the front desk needs to work on there performance it could have been better

Very pleasant experience! Staff is very friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and we were pleased with our exams! We look forward to returning there next year. Terry and Donna Sue Hogan

I am very happy with the care and annual exam that I received. I think Dr. Bailey is a terrific optometrist. He was happy to answer my questions. The front office staff is excellent too--professional, polite, gracious and helpful. I am thankful to be a patient!

Not much to be impressed about. One girl at the desk was nice enough but that's about it . There was a problem with my appointment time . Apparently making appointments online go through the "old" system that isnt linked to the "new" system . All my old info was lost . They had to cancel my old appointment and set up a new one . Then I had to fill out paperwork as a new patient . And then since all insurance info was lost, start going through that . Even though I provided the insurance card , they couldn't find the provider. And suggested 4 times that I pay cash and take it up with insurance. It seemed they didn't really give a hoot if I was there or not . Not the same place I visited 12 months ago . Looking for a new optometrist.

I have been with eyecarecenter for 20+ years and was a patient of Dr. Bailey's. I have never had a bad experience until the last 3 months. 1st I called to order more contacts because I was out. Well I never heard from them about coming to pick them up. So I called to inquire about picking them up. I had to leave a message. I requested a call back and never received one. The scheduling staff called me about a month later about my upcoming appointment because Dr. Bailey suddenly left (which was suspicious) and they wanted me to reschedule with Dr. Metta (the only doctor left at the practice). I rescheduled my son and myself for back to back appointments. I also inquired about my contact order. They said that they could not find the order but they would call me back once they investigated further. The receptionist did call me back about an hour later and said that my contact order had been "put into the old system" and they changed systems the next day so it did not go through. Although the payment did. I requested a refund which I received but I was still contactless for months. One would think if they know they are changing order systems there would be a process in place to avoid this kind of issue. So I gave them a benefit of the doubt that this was just a one time mistake. Well I show up for my appointment with my son. My son and I have always had back to back appointments scheduled and I was told my appointment would be at 1:20 and his was at 1:40. Upon arrival I was informed that only 1 appointment was scheduled and they had no record of back to back appointments. I told them this was their error. They said that they had no way to fit him in that day and that he would not be able to get in until the middle of January. Unacceptable when this is their scheduling error. I wont be back and neither will my son. This is no way to treat patients period never mind long time patients. I would not recommend this office.
