2 stars because the services by the optician and optometrist were satisfactory. No qualms at all. However, I got a text message March 4th that an item (my glasses) was ready for pickup. I showed up on March 5th (drove an hr from work) to pickup my glasses. After the front desk person searched for a few minutes, she realized it was delivered to the the Birkdale location. I was confused because I did not get my current exam at that location and not sure why it ended up there. She apologized. I told her to please have it mailed to my house as I did not want to drive her location a second time. She said she would overnight it. I got a call March 9th from her that it was delivered to her store, instead of my house. At this point, I am in disbelief. She apologized and stopped there. It is a misconception that an apology can fix things that we have the capacity to remedy. I will not return to this location for further services.

I had an appointment scheduled for January 27th at 2 pm. I got a text message from this location, 2 hours before my scheduled appointment letting me know that the doctor was out of office and I needed to reschedule. I rescheduled for February 6th and today received a call from this location to reschedule yet again because the doctor was not going to be in office. The representatice I spoke with. Amelia, was not only unhelpful and rude, but hung up on me mid conversation we I told her that the issue was on their end not mine. I must have dodged a bullet knowing that their staff frequently cancels on patients because they doctors are never in office, and that their front desk staff will hang up on you. I do not recommend this location to anyone

This is my third time visit here in 2 days. Slowest people on the earth. You must at least keep 2 hours of spare time if coming to this store. Just 2 people in the main staff and their systems are so slow, they don't have any automated way to check your insurance, have to call the insurance company to know if you are covered even if you give them the insurance card and if it is after 5 pm the insurance call center will be closed and after standing in queue for 2 hours you will be told to come next day and again queue up since they cannot check your insurance after 5 pm. If there are even 2 names ahead of you in the list they would at least take 1 to 1 and half hour to clear them up before they can talk with you. Pathetic service, keep this store as your LAST option to come and try.

Buying glasses were good as well. Lots of options.

I called in initially to ensure they had my insurance on file today. They said no. I advised them to cancel my appointment since I couldn't find my insurance. I call back to update my insurance information. They say they have it, and it was pulled yesterday. I advised of the situation and asked if they do walk ins instead since I canceled because I was told misinformation. She said no walk ins in December. I go to schedule an appointment online and in bold letters it is advertising walk in appointments. I'll go to a different location since this one doesn't want any business.

The 5 stars is for Danae the manager , super nice , helpful . We were disappointed because the frames my husband went to pick up were cracked so we had to reorder another pair luckily my husband ended up choosing a different frame so it all worked out But manager was great and didn't charge us extra for the different frames .

Would love to give zero stars if possible. Highly suggest going elsewhere if you have an elderly relative or non-English speaker that needs examination done. Female doctor was impatient and reluctant to perform thorough exam due to language barrier. Rejected dilation (even though personally requested), rudely answered Qs, and much appreciated the lack of accountability and professionalism. Everyone else was fine. One bad review amongst a sea of "good reviews", but take precaution when selecting office/doctor.

Loved this location! The staff is very patient even when overrun by customers. The doctor knew how to answer all of my questions and he was very efficient in the process! We later checked out with Danae, who was super funny and kind to my sister and I. A store that's run by people who are very capable! Couldn't recommend it enough.
