I would give a negative star review if I could just for this individual pictured below. He should not be the first face you see when you walk in, simply because he is incredibly rude. There are two doors for this business, one is exam & one is for shopping for frames (I did not know when I arrived, pictured below). I walk into the wrong one & was welcomed with his stank attitude. It's a shame that instead of greeting your customers with kindness, you greet them with a smug attitude & proceed to sit there on your phone while giving the most minuscule amount of information as if the customer should've known everything off the bat. The young lady next door who did the pics/exam & the telehealth providers were awesome.
Julio was amazing! I walked in the wrong entrance and he happily walked me to the right door to get my exam first. Knowledgeable, genuine, and very kind.. Even though it was close to closing he was very detailed about what added features were imperative so that I have the best experience with my new eyewear. I'm so excited and can't wait to get my new glasses Thanks Julio!!
Awesome experience! Easy to book appointment (got mine on very next day, booking the night before). Great service, prices, and people. Was in and out with thorough examine and new glasses in hand within an hour. Awesome selection of frames and options for lenses and protection plans! Will be a returning customer.
The whole process was very easy. I was walked through the entire time. The lady (I want to say Bianca) even helped me pick out my glasses. Julio was amazing. He was very personable and made the experience great! Many thanks.
Eyemart Express really extends amazing customer service. My experience from start to finish was more than I imagined. Nothing was rushed or forced on me. The team members even worked together like a family. I took a leap of faith going to Eyemart Express and I am grateful for doing so!
I am submitting this review to document my experience at 20/20 vision services (the partner of Eyemart Express) so other consumers can make an informed decision.
I completed an eye exam at 20/20 vision services and later returned for a re-exam after the glasses made from the original prescription were unusable. I tried the glasses out and returned them immediately. Throughout both the first and second visits to 20/20 vision services, I consistently described the same visual issues to the technician and the optometrist. During the re-exam, I was informed by the doctor via video conference (they have no doctor or technicians on site) that I likely required a hands-on practitioner and possibly prism correction--neither of which this virtual-only practice provides.
These limitations were not disclosed prior to purchase. I want to be very clear and fair about why I requested a refund. This wasn't about effort or professionalism -- it's about service capability. They were not capable of providing me the service I paid for. They did not have the tools or technology to give me a proper prescription. Their service was undeliverable, which ethically required a full, not partial refund.
I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve the matter, including more than 6 phone calls and additional travel time, but received only a partial refund despite the doctor who saw me twice acknowledging they could not meet my needs.
After these many phone calls, I was never put in touch with the right person after specifically asking for a name and phone number of someone that could help me. Instead I was bounced around to people that said they would "have someone call me."
After no response for quite some time after the last attempt to resolve the matter, I left a message stating that I was going to dispute the charge to Amex and leave an honest review of what happened during this experience on Google Reviews, the Better Business Bureau, and any other platform I could so that others could make an informed decision as to whether 20/20 vision services would be a good fit for them.
This prompted an immediate response that a full refund had been issued, for which I am grateful, but it took a lot of time, effort and communication to get to that point. I should not have had to go to such lengths to get a full refund.
20/20 vision services may be appropriate for some patients, but artists, photographers, and individuals with more complex visual requirements should consider a provider that offers in-person exams and a full range of corrective options.
Again, this wasn't about effort or professionalism -- it's about service capability.
Service is above and beyond! We have gone there for regular glasses in the past, but recently had a situation where one of our family members broke both pairs of their up-to-date glasses in a very short amount of time. We called the store and they let us know the frames were under warranty, and that we could bring them in to get replaced. When we got there they had already pulled the right frames, and were able to quickly install the lenses and send us home within minutes.
Apart from a short wait to be seen (as a walk-in), the experience was very positive. Selection, price, and service were excellent, and as an in-network provider for VSP, it was simple and affordable.
